Help Me Plan An Awesome Asia Trip

Hello, Gentlemen. I discovered the roosh v forums about a month ago, and it's great to meet a bunch of like minded individuals, with a passion for travel and vagina. Imagine my disappointment when I tried to sign up, found out you only could on the first of the month, checked my calendar and it was....

June 2.

Balls.

Anyway, here we are a month later, a little older and a little wiser. Allow me to tell you my story.

I'm currently in Korea until early September. I've checked out a lot of the threads on Korea, and a lot of the advice in them is bang on- it can be an adjustment figuring out the girls here, but once you do it can be very easy and very rewarding. And MY GOD they have the most amazing legs I've ever seen (and I've been to Brazil).

I've got some money and some time, and I'm going to be spending mid-September to Christmas time traveling Asia, working on my online biz by day, banging sweet Asian honies by night. I'm thinking 3 countries, maybe 4, over this time, as I find a month in one place is generally good to get a good feel for it, get the ball rolling and have some fun, without getting too bored. I want this trip to be off the hook, and I need your help choosing the right places.

I'll start by listing the potential places I'm interested in, and what I've learned about them from previous posts.

But first, what I'm looking for.

My criteria are these:
1) The girls. Looking for plenty of hot girls who speak some English, are receptive to foreigners, and are not hookers. I feel my game is pretty tight, I've been at it for years and as such feel I could succeed anywhere, but obviously the easier the better for efficiency's sake.

2) Cost. I have a limited bankroll, and would like to save as much as possible. So if country B is slightly lower in the girls department (slightly) but half the cost, I'd probably go with B. If there's a big difference I'd still go with A, as girls are my first concern.

3) Living standards/internet connection. The more developed the better, I'm not necessarily looking to slum it in the 3rd world, and I need an internet connection to work on my business, for at least a few hours a day.

I think that's it.

My potential countries, starting with my top 3 right now, followed by the dark horses:

1) Thailand- seems standard- low cost of living, big tourist culture, girls are very receptive, but watch out for hookers and ladyboys. Bangkok and the beaches in the south seem most popular.

2) the Philippines- similar to above- low cot of living, receptive girls with good English, hookers are an issue, poorer than Thailand. Manila or the beach areas.

3) Japan- expensive, and not all the girls speak english, but high quality girls and worth the cultural experience from what I gather. Might keep it brief, 3 weeks with a lot of couch surfing to cut down on costs. Tokyo and Osaka.

THE DARK HORSES

CHINA- heard mixed things, English may be an issue, especially with hot girls.
TAIWAN- More westernized? Better English?
VIETNAM- I heard it's cheap, fun, and the girls are hot. It's tempting. How's the English?
CAMBODIA- super cheap, and apparently anything you want is fair game. Sounds like fun too.

MALAYSIA/LAOS/SINGAPORE etc- I don't know much about them, but I'm open to new ideas.

So... I think that's it. Any advice on the subject is helpful, help me make this a pimpinest trip for the ages.

I'm a white Canadian guy, average height, muscular/lean build, handsome as fuck [Image: smile.gif]

I would say Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia

If you are a good looking guy then maybe best to avoid the Philippines, I hear the quality is a lot lower than in Thailand

I'm living in Taipei, Taiwan now and it is a pretty fun place. I've never been to mainland China but people say that Taiwanese people are more sophisticated than people from mainland China. There are some very attractive girls and it is quite easy to swoop them if you are decent looking. Go to Luxy or Myst on Friday or Saturday night and you will see plenty of attractive women dressed to kill.

The thing I like about this place is that there isn't a big sex tourism scene like in other countries and most foreigners here work here or study here. So the chicks you get with aren't chasing you for a passport or for you to save them from their miserable existence. You can find a good amount of girls that speak passable English out at clubs. Also I think flights from Korea to here are cheap. Let me know if you need any more information.

Here's what I'd recommend with optimal time-periods for maximal experience:

Thailand:
Bangkok - good for 1-3+ months of solid awesome clubbing/food/girls.
also, good for a few days each:
Chiang Mai: northern city for chilled out and cultural / touristy stuff. Cool place to check out
Southern islands: Koh Samui, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Phan Ngan

Philippines: a few days was enough for me (visiting friend who lived there), a LOT of girls potential and they speak great english... dunno about staying longer-term though.

Cambodia: 1-2 weeks pure tourism, seeing the sights. Take or leave the nightlife. Some compelling sights and history, fascinating country/people.

Japan:
2 weeks in Tokyo would be perfect. Definitely its own weird little universe. Alot of fun to be had. Tokyo seemed like one of the most exotic places Ive been; very developed like the west but at the same time so alien and different. Just very unique and distinct culture. Was a real adventure for me.

(MY) DARK HORSE:
Jakarta, Indonesia. Never been. Just sounds like a sketchy off-the-beaten-path tropical city. Girls who approach you, few foreigners, seemingly interesting culture... it's caught my eye for sure, im trying to see if I can get there after I leave Bangkok.

costs: all very reasonable, probably cheaper than Korea, except Tokyo which is expensive. It all depends on your choices of accom, food and location tho.

RichieP gave some pretty good advice.

The only thing I would change would be adding in China.

This would be my itinerary for 4 months if I could swing the flight / travel costs. Considering I haven't been to these locations and wanted to knock out most of my Asian bucket list.

Thailand - 3 weeks
Cambodia / Laos / Vietnam - 3 weeks
Philippines - 2 weeks
Japan - 2 weeks
China - 2 weeks
Indonesia - 2 weeks
Taiwan - 2 weeks

That is some bad info you have gotten Deb. The high end is better in Thailand, for sure, and the girls dress better and have more style, but the difference ain't that big. There are enough high quality girls in the Philippines, especially the young girls in the malls who are way easier than their Thai counterparts, to compensate for any small differences in quality between the two countries. And being the young flesh lover that you are Deb, the Philippines has more of that to offer you than Thailand.

I would go to 4 places.
1. A 2nd tier city in the Philippines like Davao for 1 month....to bang as much young fresh pussy, in a city next to nice beaches, as you can handle. Then when you are satiated and bored....
2. Go to Saigon Vietnam to get a real big Asian city experience (1 to 2 months). The food is great and there are many sights both historical, cultural and natural in Vietnam. You will be getting laid less than the Philippines because of the lower percentage of english speakers (but higher than Korea, Japan, Cambodia, Indonesia, etc). But as a good looking white guy you should do pretty well with girls who are more interesting and sophisticated than their Filipina counterparts. Just don't forget to pipeline the internet to seek the english speaking girls.
3. Bangkok (1 to 2 month)....for the nightlife and all the things many forum members rave about. Too many foreigners, ladyboys, sex tourists, p4p for my liking, but hard to go against the advice of so many.
4. Tokyo (2 weeks) for the reasons mentioned above.

If Couchsurfing in Japan is essential for your budget, check into it in more detail before you commit.

Tokyo is one of the hardest CS cities in the world to find a host. Housing space is at a premium. Locals work long hours.

It may be easier once you get out into the smaller Japanese cities and towns.

@ Deb: Interesting, mixed opinions on the Philippines.

@ Tony: How is the cost of living there compared to Japan/Thailand/etc?

@ Richie: thanks, very detailed

@ the Internationalist: You too, while that sounds awesome, so many flights might boost my costs too much

@CM: Interesting, why a 2nd tier city in the Phillies? They don't see many foreigners? Having unlimited young pussy in a nice beach area sounds amazing, I like that... Overall, I really like that plan.

@Tigre: I wouldn't say CS was necessary to my budget, just something I was considering. I still need to crunch the numbers. I'll probably be spending my time in hostels though, if Tokyo is so expensive. We'll see. I really need to be where they speak English, though, or what's the point.

If cost is an important factor, don't go to Japan, especially Tokyo. It is brutal at current exchange rates (basically everything costs 50% more in $ than it did 5 years ago). I'm not saying you can't make it work on a budget, but it will suck a lot of the fun out of the trip. For example, even staying in a capsule hotel on the outskirts of the city will cost over $50/night. Anything approaching a normal room will cost much more. You can rent a room in a guesthouse (basically a tiny bedroom in a house sharing bathroom and kitchen) but with cleaning and admin fees even that will set you back close to $1000 for the month (and that is the price if you stay on the outskirts). If you want to live like an adult human, just to have a tiny short-term apartment in a decent area will set you back around $2000/month. Unless you want to either sacrifice a lot of comfort or blow through your cash, I'd suggest a cheaper destination. I love Japan but now is just not the time to visit.

Well it boils to the fact that i'm not particularly fussed about Asian girls as a whole. The reason I go to Thailand is because i want to bang Russian/Scandinavian/Slavic girls. Very of these go to Phillipines compared to Thailand.

Yeah in case it wasn't clear, I'm mostly looking to make sweet love to Asian girls. Though if I run across some hot Eastern European/Swedish chicks along the way, I certainly won't complain.

I'm not familiar with hostels in Tokyo. The only one I know of is Sakura Hostel, which charges $35-40/night for a bed in a dorm. I think you'd be better off looking at guesthouses if you plan to stay at last a month - a bit cheaper and at least you'd have your own room. If you want to sleep in a guesthouse that has dorms, you might be able to pay as little as $600-700/month. For example http://www.tokyocityapartments.net/guest...P-Akasaka/

Depends on whether your objective is just girls or whether you'd also like to visit an awesome place and get a nice vacation out of it.

If your objective is chicks, i'd reduce the number of destinations and concentrate on second tier cities. That's why chochemonger recommended Davao-- i was there in April, and you'll get more attention there.

Yet at the same time, Davao isn't as awesome and easy to digest as doing say the Bangkok-Chiang Mai-Pai circuit. There's a lot of fun and awesome stuff to see and do and you'd have fun WHILE you're hunting for girls as well. That's why it can get a bit more complicated.

Yes Wirey a 2nd tier city in the Phils is optimal, to maximize your exotic factor. In Manila, you will get laid tons also, but being a foreigner doesn't help as much. For example you will get a lot more looks and attention from young girls in a mall in Davao or Palawan than a mall in Manila. So you can use that to your advantage, in terms, of banging higher quality chicks. Also, there is nothing like having beaches nearby in a country where the weather is hot.

@WYD: Yeah fair enough, I'm sure I'd get pretty bored if I'm just chasing girls and not doing other cool things for 4 months.

@CM: Yeah, I was in Porto Alegre in Brazil, and I get the whole 2nd tier thing. And if it's a beautiful beach town as opposed to a stinky major city, even better.

Yeah it's a bummer about Japan. It seems like a fascinating place, and I really want to see it. But if it's crazy expensive, and the English situation is meh, I'll have to really think about that.

I'm considering focusing more on SE Asia now, maybe Thailand/Cambodia/Laos/Vietnam area, possibly the Philippines as well.

@WireySpindell; Vietnam; delicious healty food, cheap, safe, beautiful sexy women more and more people are learning to speak english. some restrictions conserning the Net, and Cambodia ;anything goes, alot of people speaking english, cheap, is definitely worth checking out.

Forget about Malaysia and Singapore. Hit up Tokyo for some days if you have the chance and $$$.
I don't know about the Philippines, but it should be awsome.

You can't go wrong in SE Asia.

Okay, I came across some interesting laws in regards to some of the countries I am thinking of visiting. Has any one run in to trouble with either of these?

1) It is illegal for a foreigner to engage in a sexual relationship with a person from Laos (Laosian?) outside or marriage.

2) It is illegal for a foreigner to have a Vietnamese person spend the night in Vietnam. Apparently this is enforced at many hotels.

Wtf? Why am I being swag-jacked by the legislative branches of South East Asian governments?

Yes, and yes. I have been to neither so direct knowledge cannot be shared, but people I have spoken to who have encountered these situations say both are true. However, money always solves problems in this part of the world.

Taipei is a sleeper city. If you're a decent looking guy, there's minimal game required...just order a beer and smile at girls. Most are shy, especially if you approach them in front of their friends, but I can assure you, even the quiet ones love to get down.
