I was in in Ciudad Del Este for one day.. It's a really manic Barter Town. You'll understand when you pass through ^^ I found the locals' Spanish quite difficult to understand and my Argentinian friend told me it's really mixed with indigenious languages

Well, in Paraguay is obligatory to learn Guaraní during the high school years, but in reality not all the population speaks it fluently, what most people on the streets do, though, is speaking spanish with many guaraní words in the mix. Otherwise, paraguayan spanish is verrrry slow, so you should not have much problem understanding them.

I grew up in Asunción during my childhood, although have not been there since 1991.

There are gorgeous girls in Paraguay, even in the lower classes, but as usual, the upper classes have the better bunch of girls.

Instead of calling US citizens gringos, they call them "yankees", for a change and I really doubt they would be throwing themselves at any passing gamer, but if you stand a chance, you should try and find some local wingmen, because out of the blue, no girl in PY will be easy to bang, as far as I recall.

It is a messy city, mixing mansions with small low class houses. All my friends are top of the social scale, so when I tell you that i see many 8-9s in ther FB pics, it won't be the usual view, but if you get to some clubs and game with a local or a foreigner who knows locals, I think you could have some sucess.

Being a very isolated country, PYans are very shy and slow to greet strangers, but they are deeply good people.

let me get back to you, I asked a friend in PY for some suggestions, waiting for reply, until when are you staying there?

Just until Sunday or Monday I think unless I pick up a girl that makes me want to stay longer.

Here are the suggestions where to mmet the really good looking girls in PY:
- Irish Pub called like the town and beer: Kilkeny, that is to be found in Paseo Carmelitas where all the good bars and restaurants are concentrated where upper class girls hang out.
- Discos: COYOTE, KANDI, BAMBUDHA. The last one is the one most recommended because the quality of tail you will find there.

Report back and let's see if these recommendations where worth it.

My friend here in Brazil is dating a Paraguayan girl. He had just gotten back from Paraguay when I arrived at his house. Second night, last night, met up with a local girl. She was cute (kinda looks like Julie Delpy). Very shy. Did the whole "two steps forward, one step back" seduction dance with her. Playfully teased her on her shy body language, bounced to another bar. Lots of kino, sexual eye contact (in a two steps forward, one step back kinda way).

Escalate, step back, escalate, take away, step back, escalate (repeat) until the buying temperature was there. Once I got past that, plain sailing.

Logistics were not down to take her to my place or her place so I suggested a short time hotel. Off we went. Zero LMR.

Time from meet to lay : 4.5 hours.

I've been reading this board for a while, haven't really post much though. I'm living in Buenos Aires at the moment. Planning on visiting Asuncion mid November though. I don't know anyone there nor know the city at all. Any new tips or updates on Asucion?
