Can someone school me on good summer suits as per material/color schemes? I have found some lighter linen suits but have heard that seer sucker is great.
I need some help on staying classy in the heat.

Seersucker is a lot harder to pull off without looking like a WASP or a dandy from the South. Linen will be much more versatile as far as what you can wear it with as well. Go with a tan or a blue and embrace the wrinkles.

I enjoy your blog. Great fashion advice. Seersucker looks awesome if you can pull it off, though. The blue and dark tan suits look great here. The light blue seersucker suit was paired with the wrong shoes, though.

Why don't you try blazzer from G-star or Hugo boss. I use to have a bad ass blue sport coat from G- star, got stolen when I went on vacation. I coulnd't find anything like that since then. Also I would look into the european makers. Suits from america are rubbish in my own opinion

I'm generally digging linen for summer, although I still am dying to find a good half-constructed linen summer jacket. For general casual wear, though, a linen overshirt and drawstring trousers are comfortable, stylish, and cool.
Still... having a time finding a nice cool summer jacket. Most things I find are linen but constructed--the worst of both worlds since it'll be hot and wrinkle badly.

You really have to watch it with seersucker suits, especially if you decide to go with the seersucker/bow-tie combo. I honestly feel like this is a look that only a few can effectively pull off and most that attempt it look like clowns. Basically, if it isn't working for you, don't try too hard to force it.

not suit but since you mentioned seer sucker: seer sucker slacks, sperries, with a blue button down is a classy look in southern cities.
