I saw the same scene at a hotel here in Indonesia. Renting out the ballroom of a hotel for a girls party.
There is money here. And then there is Money here. And then there is MONEY here.

Would you say Indonesia might be today's highest Poosy Paradise for a light skinned, educated white guy of 50? What city would be best?

Indonesia is a big place, so you can find some variety in what's on offer in the locations.

It's a bit selfish of me, I know, but some locations I'd rather keep secret. But the general ideas are:

Kuta, Bali: a fun town to visit and even live in, and great if you are into pay for play, or are young and handsome and just up for a little fun. Not a good choice if you prefer LTRs. I don't find the native Balinese girls as attractive as the Javanese. Girls will tend to be either hard core players, or hard core husband hunting, with not much in between. Finding a girl for casual dating, or western style sex without either money or commitment, is not popular here. Girls are professionally female - don't expect a career girl to offer sex and companionship as a free exchange for sex and companionship.

Town X. An small city with very few foreigners, but a long history of occupation by various western powers and even the Japanese. The girls are some of the most beautiful hybrids you'll ever see. Very open to foreigners. You get rock star status here. Many girls are conservative and virgins right up into their early twenties, but you'll also find your player girls, and girls with the higher socio-sexual orientations. Very little nightlife. Very little English. Social circles easy to break into.

Jakarta: Everything available. Great nightlife of all sorts, women of all classes. Hot and bad air. A big city that takes a while to get around - an hour or two to some locations. Has some areas with many expats and foreigners.

Town Y. A mid sized city with a few foreigners. College town. Women of most classes open to foreigners, and sometimes actively interested. Poor nightlife. Almost no English. Some pretty girls. Sexual attitudes same as anywhere in the world - girls with high, low, and medium socio sexual orientations. Strong advantage to the westerner, with the real challenge being meeting the girls. If you look good in an online profile you can do well, if you don't, you'll struggle to get a few online meet ups. But of those conversions can be good.

If you really want the rock star experience, then go off the beaten path, where a white skinned guy is rarely seen. Men and women will say hello to you on the street. Teens and college aged girls will titter. Turning that into a conversion is another story - some of those tittering girls will be thinking in terms of marriage before sex, or be wary to let themselves get isolated.

A guy has a lot of options for his strategy here. Short term, medium, very long term. Whatever your flavor, you'll find niches of girls willing to accommodate. And some can be reeled in on a bait and switch.

It's been 7 or 8 years since I was in the Phils, but I'd say the Phils is easier for girls. Thailand 8 or 9 years ago was also in some ways easier - it's more sexually open there. But the girls are sneakier, and I've never met anyone who can take them seriously. They're just playthings. Thai culture is the most irritating of all - their emphasis on face really gets to you, especially as it's so fucking hypocritical and shallow - making any sense of intimacy or deep conversation impossible. Fluff and stuff, but fun fluff and stuff.

Pussy paradise? Depending on what you want and where you are in your life, it can be. Some guys live in Jakarta and pull a new girl from a club every night. Some of that is by paying for the girls drugs, or taxi fair (I'll leave that mis-spelling), some is just novelty sex. Or you could do what I do and find girls to live with you. Or even have a small harem. Age differences aren't as acceptable as in the lower classes in Thailand or the Phils, however if you are good at your job of seduction, you still target girls outrageously below you in age. I target girls from 19 up to 26, with most being about 21 or so, and I'm on the wrong end of mid forties. Some of the girls I date are light skinned, which means that the upper class locals will also be targetting them. That's harder to do in Thailand, and getting harder in the Phils, I'm told.

@xsplat- you have a wealth of experience. Let me add an observation from a younger dude...

I have said this before and I will say it again...Food and language is the key denominator of cultural acceptance.

When I learned just a smattering of thai and showed appreciation for their food and culture. These girls just break and stare at you w/googly-eyes. Goodness, my f-close rate even 1st night in thailand went up at least 75%.

It doesnt hurt that I look like I could be from a mixed 1/2 white 1/2 asian from wherever. Girls will really project what they want on you, because it can be. I can't even count on my fingers how many times people would speak to me in Thai when I was walking around.

As for language breaking all barriers, let me give 1 example. I was in a club in LA. This girl starts chatting in Chinese (which I speak fluently) about this and that. I bust my chinese out and boom, group acceptance. In fact, they told her to leave w/me that night. There is no greater social proof and cultural acceptance than language. It is this way, because so few foreigners actually put forth the effort.

Tagalog language primer

Give me a verb with two syllables any language
ok. how about "shower"?
ok. shower.

present
shumashower
past
shumawer
future
shashower

another?
"comer" (spanish for to eat)
present
comocomer
past
comomer
future
cocomer

In tagalog, you get the first syllable of the verb and repeat it to indicate the tense.

To the OP, there was really no need to change your game since what you were doing was working. I don't use emotocons because I think they're for young kids, but if it is not broken don't fix it.

On the subject of game, do whatever works for you. It is easy to read books and posts and assume that what some other guy does will work for you. The truth is that when things happen very few of us take the time to figure out why they are happening. For example, I've read tons of posts where guys claim to have great date game or web-chat game, but never go into detail about what their game actually involves. In many cases, their great game was simply the fact that they took a chick to a trendy place or that they are chatting with a woman who has preselected them based on something like being a foreigner.

Guys should throw the concept of alpha/beta out of their vocabulary. A leader among men is a leader among men no matter what he does for others or what type of affection he shows women.

It is also very important to keep in mind that your interactions with women are generally framed by what you want from them, what you can get from them, what they want from you and what they think they can get from you. You mention not being white which is both a pro and con in most foreign countries. It is a con because you will need to validate yourself in a way that white guys don't (there is still the trend where it is assumed that foreign and white means rich) but it is a pro because you generally find less predatory relationships. Also keep in mind that with white guys, many girls (especially young ones) in foreign countries think that landing a white guy will lead to a life of leisure and this leads many of the girls to "fall" quickly and indulge fast sexual escalation. Most of them believe that if they want you to send money or fall in love with you they have to have sex or you will find another girl. It is ironic, but since you live in Manila the girls may see you as a potentially a long term boyfriend and want to slow things down.

If you want to meet 9s and 10s then get to know regular Pinays. Be friendly with everyone from the local McDonald's chick to your coworkers. I'm not sure where you work or what you do, but if you are the boss then host a karaoke night for your employees at a nice venue so that you can meet some of their friends. Your best shot of finding 9s and 10s is getting invited to family functions and nights out with locals. Most hot chicks in foreign countries get more than enough attention from well off local guys so they don't frequent places with foreigners.

I think you guys need to hurry up and suck up what you can in the Philippines, as this game is coming closer to an end. The new type of thinking is foreigner=low class, and what is left are semi-pros or pros.

This trend seems to be happening all over the world and I expect it to continue as long as information continues to spread. Locals becoming more affluent which is driving down some of the value that foreign men have. I think a lot of women are also facing a stigma for sleeping with foreign men that is affecting their ability to land a decent local guy. I met a pinay from Cebu in KL who told me that she would never date a foreigner in the Philippines unless he actually lived there because tourist men are no good. She also said that if people found out she had a foreign boyfriend who went home and did not take her or send money then they would call her a whore.

The fact that most male tourists are looking for sex and not love/marriage is also becoming more apparent to a lot of the women and I think that is changing things as well. The ones who want only money turn into pros and the ones looking for something more shy away from dating foreigners. In about a year of travelling SEA I met tons of women who were pretty jaded in terms of dating foreigners because they had been screwed over or knew friends who had.

Unless there is a huge shift in the world and poorer countries can shake off classism this type of gaming will never end. There will never be a shortage of girls who think all foreigners are rich and if they can only get one to fall in love with them they will be set for life. Granted, most foreign guys are getting the skunk chicks but I guess we all take what we can. I'll never forget these two Thai guys laughing at a middle age white guy walking into a restaurant with his Thai girlfriend. One tapped me on the shoulder and in broken English asked if I liked Thai girls, I shrugged and he said what about that one (pointing to the girl). I laughed and shook my head no. He took out his phone and started showing me pictures of him and his friends in clubs. Every time a pic of a hot chick came up he would always say not for farlang.

Its all depends. Whats your in...do you speak the language. How do you look? How do you roll in and out? Whats your body language. How connected are you to the local scene.

That being said, its still do-able to push in and out of these scenes and lock down girls. It helps when they are drinking some and stop caring so much about face.

After you sex a girl the 1st time, she will feel some emotional attachment to you. Its impossible for her to not to, if shes a normal girl she has probably had less than 10-15 guys. You "become" something special because you slipped in.

@Xsplat. I had a wooden necklace made in Indonesia saying "Keong Racun" I'm sure you this expression. Great way to get girls to approach you.
The look on their face when they read the words. priceless!

EDIT, just noticed this thread is about pinays. Well, i had the same necklace made for the Philippines saying Babaero, same effect. No picture of that one.

It literally translates to something like "poisonous snail" but it's a term for foreigners coming to Indonesia to pick up girls.

It originated from a song lip synced by two very average looking teenage girls. They had their moment of fame when this song was played all over Indonesia. It's a very popular catchy song.

The Philippine word Babaero means player/casanova. If you know this word you can pleasantly surprise girls with it. I use lot of local words to make fun of the girls. I wrote a blogpost about it once. It's also in my book.

From my experience in the Philippines, their is a high class, a very small middle class, and everyone else. The high classes control just about everything and the level of wealth for some families is millions if not billions. Even a family who is on the low end of wealthy would probably never leave the Philippines. Life for the upper class there is so good that +1's that foreigners usually get don't apply to them. They are well traveled so they a white person is not a novelty, they are well to do so they don't care about your money. Regular game probably applies and you may possibly even be at a disadvantage due to the rep of the generated by the sex tourists. Also "Kano" may generally mean white person, or more specifically an American. It is derived from the word "Amerikano" which means suit. In the days of the American colonization of the Philippines, Americans were the only ones dumb enough to run around the tropics wearing a full suit like they would in Washington, DC. I generally found it was used in a negative way similar to "farang" in Thailand or "wayguk" in S. Korea. If the Philippines is ever able to get its act together economically, the appeal of Westerners will fade fast for the majority leaving only P4P lower classes.

My friend who spoke tagalog used to go on forums to see what locals are saying about current events, foreigners, etc. There are epic stories on those forums on how to game older an older Kano while having a Filipino boyfriend on the side. How to pass your kid boyfriend's kid off as the Kano's kid, or at least get it registered that way. That way, when the Kano dies (hopefully soon; there's advice on how to speed that process up as well), the pinay receives his residual social security for the child until the child turns 18 (US example, I'm sure others countries have similar setups). That's a minimum of $700-800 per child. For a girl from the provinces, this is a fortune to be had for minimal effort.

The face concept, "hiya", in the Philippines is difficult to understand for an American (most travel guide books discuss this). The ultimate insult in the Philippines, if said maliciously, is to say someone is "walang hiya" or without face/honor. If you say it and mean it to a Pinoy, you better be ready to back it up. Knives and guns are plentiful there and hit men can be hired for as little as $200. They typical scenario is a two person team on a motorcycle. They'll roll up behind you on the street, the guy on the back gets off, shoots you in head, gets back on and no one will catch them in the chaos of traffic. In Angeles City, a similar locale to Phuket's Bangla or Soi Cowboy, the local expats who live there FT told me that there are 90 unsolved murders of foreigners there. The police could care less.

Also, Filipinos seem like the nicest people you will ever meet and they are but there's a dark side to this. Most won't experience this, thankfully. If you're familiar with the color personality codes, Filipinos are more likely to be "white" personality codes. Submissive. They will tolerate a lot for a long period of time but when they snap, it will be memorable. I lived in Makati and while I was there a 70 year old man was murdered in a guarded, high rise condo after a Filipino emptied a full clip from an M-16 into him. His crime? The 70 year old was catting around with young Filipinas. When his 17 year old "girlfriend" found out the 70 year old was also seeing a 16 year old, the 17 yr old had her Pinoy boyfriend murder the old man. According to the story, she was there when he was machine gunned.

I'm sorry if this post seems negative. Most people go to the Philippines and have the time of their lives and everyone wins. But if you want to stay safe there, be respectful to the locals. ESPECIALLY IF YOU INTERACT WITH THE POLICE. Filipino police will fuck you up if you are disrespectful. True story, an American guy was stopped by police who said he was trying to smuggle drugs (probably planted on him). The American guy probably got belligerent instead of paying the bribe, so they beat him to death. To cover up the beating story, they carried him up 4 flights and threw him out a window to make it look like he committed suicide. A later forensic examination showed this guy was dead before he went flying. The police story was they confronted him about the drugs, he became hysterical, broke free, ran up the stairs and jumped out a window. To my knowledge, none of them were ever prosecuted or disciplined.

Interesting anecdotes aside on the dark sides of expat life in the PI, I would encourage anyone to go. Just treat people with respect and try to understand the face concept so you don't back people into a corner where they lose face in front of their peers. Its good sense and good karma.

I'm all for posting about the negative, but this kind of tale doesn't pass the smell test, which makes your whole post very suspect. IMHO.

The motive would be jealousy? Rage? I sent you a PM with details about the others. I couldn't find a news article about the old guy. I can't remember if it made the news. It probably did but I may have some details wrong so my search is not working in Google. Just google "murder foreigners manila" or "murder foreigners angeles city Philippines". As for the wealthy families controlling things. Go to wikipedia and start searching for info about the Filipino congress. The representatives and senators. In most cases, particularly the senators, a single family has controlled the seat for generations. The office will pass from father to son to sister to cousin to bro-in-law, back to father, etc. Governorships as well.

Why would the 17 year old with the boyfriend be jealous that the 70 year old guy dumped her for a 16 year old? In a previous post you said.

So anyone thinking filipinas are magic should cine back to reality. Also, they don't love being with older men and the idea that there isn't an age stigma in the PI is false. Amongst themselves it is rare to see large age gaps. They tolerate the age gaps for money and passports. The party stops real quick once they realize you won't be providing one or the other. I saw this over and over with Americans there. I thought I was smarter because I married a woman my own age.

According to these statements you made, young pinays only really like guys close to their own age. So how could she be gilted when she just looks at him as a business arrangement.

If you are going to plan to murder a business associate, it's because you will gain something from the trouble. I don't see what that couple would've gained. If anything they would've blackmailed him for underage sex with both herself and the 16 year old.

A lot of heat comes down when a tourist is killed. I'm not sure what your angle is here, but that news story about the Naval Officer sounds like he may have been guilty, who knows? I don't have access to any facts and I don't make decisions based on a news article.

Runningtheball,
Welcome to the forum! Please keep posting about your extensive knowledge of the Phils for having lived there coming! I am going there soon to spend a few months there and I am trying to learn as much as possible from reading posts from those who have lived there as opposed to those passing through on a 2-3 week vacation.

I fully believe you when you mention about foreigners being killed by bfs of their gfs or wives. There is a documentary made about a well of Brit who married a former bar girl and bought her a big house, later to be killed by her wife's lover. Search it and watch it guys. Chilling stuff to say the least!

Guys, be careful when there, be nice, don't get too cocky. Don't get into fights with the locals, and don't get anywhere near drugs or any shady stuff. You're not in Kansas anymore. A life is pretty cheap there, specially one of a foreigner....

Proceed with caution! Use common sense, be smart about how you behave and you too will soon understand why even the official slogan for the Philippines is "It's more fun in the Philippines". [Image: banana.gif]

Philippines - Pinay mindset and game differences

After several trips to the Philippines, I remarked to more than one person that I thought that the girls were really gaming us as much as we game them. Of course, the degree varies from guy to guy, depending on how he treats the girls he's "dating." I tend to be nice, to pay for meals or taxis (at least taxis at night rather than subjecting them to long jeepney rides at midnight). There is a reason why these girls haven't stopped their pursuit of foreigners, and its not just husband hunting (though there is that too). I will say, anyone who tries to narrow down tens of thousand of interactions into a single reason or purposes is bound to fail - there are a dozen reasons why a Pina might pursue a foreigner, and none of them are necessarily mutually exclusive from each other. But the idea that our presence makes life worse for say, the average low income Pina is, to me, inaccurate.

A couple of brief thoughts - I am fairly sure there are girls who hook up from time to time and consider that, hey, if I sleep with this halfway decent looking guy, I'll get to sleep on clean sheets and with aircon. and not share a bed in a cramped hot room with two or three siblings or a parent. This could hold true in many many countries, but if you have seen Philippine homes of the average person, its not so hard to believe.

I'd say a good number of girls in Asia that I've been with had never had an orgasm before - or maybe very rarely. Its just the state of things - whether its anatomy or the guys not giving a shit, or not knowing what they're doing, its the case. Many of these girls don't even know whats happening when it happens the first time. I'm sure I am not alone in this experience. It makes it a little easier to understand why some of them seem to suddenly become sex addicts. (I'd probably say this is more true in China (to be sure) and the Philippines, maybe not so much in Thailand).

Strip away the judeo-christian ethics that ingrains that sex is dirty or bad, and I think the idea that we're taking advantage of these girls starts to disintegrate. Once you've lost that ethical quandary (which it really isn't outside religion), then they've no reason to play the victim, you've no reason to feel the rogue, and basically, the interaction is largely to their benefit.

My two cents. Have at it.

Everyone has their objectives from an interaction - when you game perhaps you're objective is sex. For them, the objective might be social status (for a poor girl), sexual, financial, sustenance, any number of things. They're running a game to achieve these things by acting a certain way, interacting a certain way, lying or omitting things, pretending to be something they're not, manipulating their target rather than acting regardless of its intended affect on us.
