It's going worldwide people! I was in line at Public Bar in DC (decent spot, especially in the summer) and a guy in front of us was doing some white-knightlyesque thing for some chick. I didn't notice it until the guys behind me muttered: "Dude, he's trying to help that girl, that so beta!"
I turned around and immediately launched into how much I love discussing alpha / beta characteristics, but didn't get to ask if they read this site at all. Didn't get to talk much longer bc the crew I was with bought a table so we skipped the line (is that a DHV, or am I beta for asking that).
holla back if that was you, or if you've heard other beta / alpha discussions among peers out there in the field

Alpha/Beta is super mainstream now. 4chan/Misc/Reddit/Sites such as this and other blogs are common and reveal how prevalent the verbiage is for the majority of young men now a days. A quick google search on 'Game' and you find alpha/beta topics abound. I was on a patio the other day with an ex and her two gfs, when a guy they didnlt like came in. One of my ex's friends said 'we need you alpha male' in reference to me ensuring this guy stayed away. I was surprised to hear that term, she's 23 btw

I hear alpha thrown out a lot, not so much beta. In DC I'm not surprised.

yeah I knew a guy who lurked the 4chan/reddit side of things and after telling me how he banged this (ugly) girl said THAT WAS SO ALPHA BRO
