I agree the mind is a powerful thing. Strangely enough, AA doesn't release numbers on the effectiveness of their program; take that as you will. It also has a quasi-religious component, which for some people, qualifies it as cult-like.

The fundamental problem here is the lack of research on the effects of pornography, and that the medical establishment, especially the sexologists are pushing porn as well as masturbation. (I think this is the result of that whack Kinsey guy who basically made a lot of shit up, and has put the profession on a bad foundation). The research will only arrive too late, and at that point, we will already be fucked. Exercise caution towards any assumptions on memes the establishment pushes on you.

Damn. I cracked earlier this week on Monday and Tuesday. It was the worst thing. First time i opened up my smartphone to look at some porn images. I hate myself so much because i gave in like that ...

I am on day 30 of no porn (give or take two days), I feel more energized but could be placebo effect. What I know for sure I have more is TIME - more time to do more things, especially late nights are not wasted watching an hour of porn. Another positive effect is that I have less stereotype of women wanting only huge dicks, and other shit stuff that the porn industry is feeding its viewers.

I also agree with this. I'm not sure whether i've gone so far by not doing it for one week, or two weeks, more, less or inbetween.

It doesn't matter to me at all since i never bothered to begin counting it.

What matters to me is that i've been able to No PMO for several days, i'll do my best to continue forever hopefully. I'm at least hopeful to beat my best ever record of No PMO for 2 months. 3 or more months will hopefully be enough to get me past any form of tempting impulses.

1. Can u imagine your role model or favorite fictional character beating it? Can you imagine Batman or James Bond beating it in between missions?

2. Do you like having something so inefficient being the cause of your lack of control.

3. Would your ancestors look down upon you in disgust or pride if they caught you doing it

These helped me get to so far 50 days...so far I’ve had but 2 urges. I can improve more but I’m somewhat satisfied with my efforts so far

What I noticed was eating a lot of eggs makes my testosterone level go up exponentially, drives up my energy.
