There's a massive difference if you are having sex or not for me. I believe I can go no fap for ages if I'm busting a nut (through sex) at least once every 15-20 days or so (maximum personal limit).

Its impossible to focus on anything if I haven't nut in longer than 15-20 days.

2 weeks without orgasm makes my blood boil over things like watching a woman's legs in a skirt and high heels, whereas before watching porn for 2 days straight = I couldn't get hard unless some pretty hardcore shit was going on.

I am on no fap since 10 January 2019, and I'm going for a full 12 months of no fap.

Damn props for doing the full year bro. Yeah by two weeks I can't get sex out of my head, literally every waking moment spent thinking about it.

Notice every woman.

Been on a month+ long streak.

So far so good - have been absolutely destroying my LTR. Her report indicates that it's bigger and harder than ever. Used a condom on her yesterday because she has a yeast infection (yuck) and I remained rock solid the entire time.

That aside, have not noticed much additional benefit besides a deeper and smoother voice and somewhat reduced bacne. All in all still worth it.

So... what's it like making it past a month... the longest I made it was 35 days. And it was nearly unbearable at that point, and I was going out nightly trying to socialize and game as much as possible. I've noticed too that on long streaks i speak more deliberately and with slightly lower tone.

I'm having sex every day with some combination of my LTR/plates so it isn't hard. Now if you're completely monk mode, that is difficult. I managed 90 days of that back in college, and there would be days where I was so fired up I approached everything in sight to just get a bang.

The most natural way to reset in my opinion is to trade porn and masturbation for regular sex with a woman you care about/love. To me this feels the most healthy.

The nights were I gamed the hardest and was also the most aggressive were nights were I had done no-fap 2 weeks plus. If I left the bar without doing sets, would feel like a complete failure.

I hope I can make it to 60-90 days, maybe more.

Been doing no fap on and off over the last few years. I've posted before in this thread but after getting back on the train... (I'm somwhere around 10-13 days at the moment)

... I'm 100% convinced that having an orgasm more than about twice a month has negative effects on my quality of life, in all the areas that people talk about.

While not jerking off all the time I'm:

* More focused
* More content in general
* More aggressive about getting my goals(in a good way)
* Men & Women treat me differently after about 7+ days. (Napoleon Hill talks about this "magnetism" that having a high sex drive gives you)
* I'm more social with men and women

To the people who find it hard to not think about sex after the 2-3 week mark I'll tell you this..

(This has been true for myself) The harder you work at your goals and the more you structure and plan your day around those goals the less you'll think about sex.

In fact, I believe the reason you're stuck on sex is because you're not redirecting that energy into your goals.

Some of are you thinking "bullshit" or think you just have a higher sex drive than me but I'll tell you this....

I've done nofap before and found the same thing.... Around 2-3 weeks it becomes unbearable and you just give in....

But what is the one constant about all the times we give in to that urge?

...We aren't on our purpose (shoutout to AMS) or we aren't chasing our goals. Youre just hanging out by yourself doing nothing.

That used to be me

In the last year I've started a business and now have a full time employee and I've commited myself to big goals in all areas of my life and I'm finding that I'm so focused, and I'm putting so much energy into them that the days over before I've thought about jerking off.

Every time i jerk off it's usually because I didn't plan that time period for that day.

No fap gives me more energy to attack my goals and the success I'm seeing only reinforces not going back to jerking off 1-7 times a week.

I'm not at all convinced that completely abstaining from fapping is a good thing; the benefits are overblown and risks ignored. I have experienced that repurposing of sexual energy towards other pursuits while abstaining, however if I go more than 2 weeks without fapping I start to have wet dreams all the fucking time, and it becomes even more problematic.

What many people fail to understand is that fapping to porn is what's truly damaging. Hell even looking at porn without fapping is FAR more harmful than fapping on its own.

All the literature i've looked at his drawn a link between porn addiction and neurological/behavioral problems, not fapping by itself. If you go a year without fapping but look at porn the whole time you haven't accomplished anything.

Hello guys, I'm a new RooshV forum member and this is my first post. I've been following this thread with keen interest and been a passive reader of the forum for the past few months.

I've read through all the first 18 pages of this thread so far.

Wanking is a massive issue and i've slowly begun to phase out of it (especially the not watching porn at all, done that easy for many months). My biggest problem with it is that it just drains your energy and I just wonder around semi useless and lazy for the next 2 days or so.

I've tried many times to just go full no PMO but i've had my best at around 2 months than just caved in.

Here's my take on it:
Its absolutely worth it, especially the no porn part (watching it is like pouring poison into your brain, especially some of the messed up categories).
The problem is that you just can't have all this sexual energy grow in your body without doing something about it.
By default, everyone addicted to wanking and porn will just vent it out in the worst way possible.

I'm inclined to believe that the solution is to shift your sexual energy into other things; the several types of work you do (private income, job, studies, fitness, etc), and sex with real women.

Unfortunately i'm young and i still live with my parents, so the way they are really means i'm logistically disabled from going out and getting laid with chicks (although i've done it twice some time ago).

Basically, what i've started doing since the start of this month is to only allow myself to do this 2 times (2 ejacs) a week (weekend). Next month i plan on transitioning to only once a week (1 ejac) and holding that for a few months while i channel my energy into muscle building, studies and private income growth. I really could do with more discipline instead of wasting time on browsing the forum, youtube, alternative media and other entertainment but that's another issue.

Eventually, i'll leave my parent's home around when i leave the west after 2 years. (Have to finish studies and still need to earn at least a few $k to sustain myself, a few short trips will have to do till then)

I hope everyone has drastically improved here since they started with this. I still see some forum members commenting here that were back in the first 18 pages ...

Sounds like you have a realistic grasp on this problem. From what I remember reading it's optimal to fap about once a week for stabilizing hormone levels (although I'm a bit skeptical that regular orgasm is necessary, most primates don't masturbate to orgasm, but maybe humans are different), and I think it may be necessary if you're going to give up porn for good. It's quite hard to "repurpose" all that pent up sexual energy if you're not getting laid all the time. Even if you manage to resist, in many cases people experience a "flatline" for months or years, where the basically become asexual. Not good unless you want to become a monk.

@Batman_

Ideally you don't get sucked into the whole porn or masturbation thing in the first place. It all started when i was around 14 for me. I swear i had a tonne more energy back then with daily boners everyday to do things (unfortunately i didn't know what i should be doing then), something that i simply lack now and literally feel too lazy to do much of anything. There are so many young guys out there that will just get sucked into it because its what everyone else does and there's "nothing wrong with it" or "its healthy".

Yes, the easiest release is with real women, a girlfriend is probably the most reliable source assuming that's managed properly (a few times a month). Either way, whether with real girls, low quantity of masturbation without porn, or channeling it into work and whatever else, you need DISCIPLINE for all of it. No other way without at least some DISCIPLINE.

I never even said anything about regular orgasm but its definitely something to avoid as it increases your chances of caving in.

Hope I can offer a unique perspective. Masturbated for first time a week ago and I'm 21. No decrease in energy versus before. Your body just gets used to it and you even stop having frequent nocturnal emissions.

Interesting you feel that way, but i know i felt absolutely the opposite after i began. Getting used to having less energy in your body is a bad thing.

I appreciate your perspective, but my own personal experience tells me that this is something i absolutely need to overcome. Overcoming porn has already done a lot for me and that was sometime ago.

I've set a plan of reducing my MO's from twice, to once a week etc until i'm in the opportunity to go at it with real women, where i simply won't need to anymore.

I really don't understand all the people that resort to PMO despite getting lots of bangs or having girlfriends (maybe if they have relationship issues). I would've thought that those guys would PMO less. Strange. I suppose its just a discipline thing.

I've been doing no fap with the occasional relapse since late 2017. It's great but a few warnings from my experience:

- Lowered standards. I fucked a 5 once when deep into it and one too many 6s. I will never forget that 5. Ever.

- Condoms. I think with my dick more and have had more risky sex. I just find it more difficult to think rationally and have self-control.

- Inverted standards. I once went for 18 days straight without ejaculating at all and I was basically mentally ill at the end of this. It was like I had a pussy radar where I could sense girls around me without even seeign them. By the end of this stretch, my standards also inverted so that I started liking thicc/bigger girls more than slim girls. My blood felt different. I don't know how to explain it. But I'm not sure going that long is good unless you're preparing for war.

The benefits are clear but it's better when you have a regular girl/girls.

Problem with me when doing no fap is that I get insane amounts of energy. My testosterone seems to jump the 145% and stay there.

I mean, I feel like sprinting just walking around after 2 weeks if I'm not pouring my energy into something productive. And I'm a hardcore addict. Talking 17 years, and I'm 30.

To say it's destroyed my potential is highly accurate.

day 8 of no porn , however no masturbation is tough. Masturbating about previous sex sessions or something in your brain , is great.

This is basically what I do. Porn has never appealed to me (I watched my last porno in 2012) but fapped almost daily that year to memory sex and the years after it. I have recently got back on the no-masturbation train and I have so much newfound energy. I noticed the other day when I came to work I started on my worklist right away, whereas before I would take at least an hour to "wake up" and get adjusted. Today I did an hour long hot yoga session and followed up right after with a two hour judo class. No way I would have had that energy to do that with fapping. I have even dieted keto before and still had less energy if I was still fapping.

Joined the NoFap train beginning of the year. Helped a lot. Screwed 7 girls the last 2 months when it has had super low priority (been focusing on work). I have noticed I emit this really good energy that people like to connect to. The majority of my social interactions are much better. I'm much more playful and my mouth is basically running loose talking shit.

Jerking off to porn frequently makes you weak, there is no doubt about it.

Restarting at Day 1 for me [Image: punchballs.gif] I was starting to get some real energy and stamina back and feeling much less fatigued. My eyes wouldn't get tired as quickly when focusing on tasks on a computer or phone screen for long periods of time. I noticed that my horniness levels were extremely high and my mind was obsessed with
sex and finding an outlet for release either in a woman or by my own powers. In the end I let my guard down and let something something I saw online lead to a non-salvagable situation ( damn you fine figured latinas! [Image: angry.gif]).

The struggle and brain re-wiring process is definitely real and taxing on the mind and body while every system resets and heals itself from the damage caused. I've seen a lot of men online refuting the effects of recovery or claiming that they feel no different from when starting nofap. People need to keep in mind that every body and how it reacts to nofap is different and also depends on many factors: frequency of ejaculation before starting, fitness level, health and whether any issues are present, age, how long have you been jerking off before nofap (this ties in with frequency of course), etc. 90 days is just an arbitrary number in my opinion, a man should attempt 6 months before gauging improvement. Sometimes abstaining MUCH longer is needed for a reboot (years) and sometimes it isn't. Again it's all dependant on the individual. In any case we should all keep trucking on.

I've been doing nofap last week (I lasted 6 days) and now I am back on it again (3 days) and I feel depressed, I'm busy with work, university and go gym, is this just hormones regulating? I have no reason to feel bad

Been on No Porn since January 6~. It was tough for the first 2-3 weeks, but I have no desire to watch it anymore.

Here's where I'm at

-Don't jerk it anymore. Though I have had a few slip ups.

-I avoid having sex more than 3-5 times a week.

-Sometimes I'll have sex without ejaculation if I'm pushing my weekly ejaculation limit, which really fires up her hamster since I offer no explanation. I find this hilarious.

My Observations

-My sex drive has gone down to what I consider a normal level for someone my age. I only want sex 10 times a week (I'm young). 3-5 times a week is what I aim for though. I view it like junk food and try to limit my intake despite the fact it's a base desire that I want everyday.

-I'm much more dominant with women. Not sure the cause, but I'll take it.

Final Thoughts

I feel more productive, but this isn't a "superpower" or anything like that. It is a preferable state compared to watching porn and ejaculating 8 days a week.

All in all, there is no benefit to watching porn or excessively jacking off. Plus, it's not natural.

So why do you do it? Does porn have any benefit on your life?

Tips for Making It

You really need to ask yourself why you want to do this. I've been doing this since 2012 for varying lengths of time, but never more than 30 days. Personally, I was always doing it because I wanted to get laid more and always failed.

I wasn't really successful at it until I was doing it for my own personal benefit.

Being busy helps too. Getting laid doesn't make it easier in my experience. I watched the most porn when I lived with my ex-GF and had sex 2-3 times a day. Actually, I think having frequent sex desensitizes you to real world sex, which makes you want to watch porn to turn you on. That's what happened with me at least.

After having stuck with this for a while now I absolutely think that constant jerking off to porn makes men complacent and weak as fuck.

I probably still have a while to go before I reap the full rewards but this has been eye opening so far.

Out of embarrassment I don't think I posted on the thread after relapsing. It must have been only two weeks or so. And that was a month ago that I relapsed. It was one of those things where I was slightly hungover the next day and jerked off for a momentary boost. I regretted it immediately.

I find that i have trouble the first couple weeks, getting the streak going. As of today, I think I've gone 10 days without blowing a load. Yesterday I watched porn all day, literally whole day and didn't blow a load. Technically I cheated, whatever... But that's alright. Still haven't blown a load in 10 days. The energy is back, as well as the optimism and the drive to get something done. I'm gonna take it day by day this time, and try to minimize the drinking and computer usage. That's all I can do really.

I really would love to make it to a month, but who knows. Porn is powerful. I need to escape its grips.

Well that sounds like more of a waste of time than just blowing a load.

The more I experiment (by which I mean relapse to varying degrees) the more I think that porn is the main problem. I'm in an odd space. Porn doesn't excite me any more. My GF does, 100%. But when she's away for a week I sometimes can't stop myself looking.

Hello guys.

This whole month i made it with wanking without porn only twice a week for 4 weeks in this month. So only 8 times for the whole month, 2 times per each week. It actually felt pretty easy for me to hold off wanking and at times it actually felt a bit forced of me to wank. I felt like i could've gone for longer gaps without.

In this week as the start of a new month, i'm transitioning to one wank a week. I'll continue this for probably the next few months. I'll tell you guys how this goes after some time although it should be easy.

I already feel more productive and as if i all of a sudden have half a week more worth of time and energy to actually do useful things.

No Fap taken to extreme can be dangerous thing, once i went on a 2 weeks without PMO ended up banging a granny who looked hard 8 at the time, after i busted a nut inside her she turned into 3.

I get very aggressive when go without O for longer than a few days , what i have noticed is that cutting red meat from diet help keep aggression and its easier to fall asleep without a Need to cum.
Good strategy is to go vegetarian or semi vegetarian, you got to adjust your diet or else all these energy will fuck up your mind.
Having 400g raw steak is not helping unless you can channel it somehow but for most guys its real tough.
