Every time I check RVF or Roosh's home page I look forward to whatever new feminist-driven media bullshit he or anyone else has managed to conjure up.
However, I don't encounter it very often in real life, save for my interactions with random girls where I see its effects on their speech and mannerisms. It's rare, almost nonexistent that I actually get into a discussion about feminism with anyone in my life.
However, this past week, I saw the two following quotes from good friends, one male one female, that I've known for quite some time. These were both posted as status updates on Facebook on separate occasions:
Him: "I am slightly insulted when people ask me if I am a feminist. The question implies that there existed the possibility of being something else."
Her: "I'd like every man who doesn't call himself a feminist to explain to the women in his life why he doesn't believe in equality for women"
There's a part of me that would like to get into it with both of them, but somehow I can't find it in me to be confrontational with personal acquaintances. Both of these statements are just so mindless I wouldn't even know where to begin. I'd rather just slough them off and leave them to their delusions...
