Which RVF Member Violated "Man Code?"

I'm still waiting on more details (specifically the time and date the message was sent), but you guys may remember this thread about the "RVF Honorary Female" I mentioned.

Well, someone contacted her on Couchsurfing through an anonymous profile and sent her that thread in a private message. She immediately contacted my friend who was discussed in the OP, and he got in touch with me and alerted me to the news.

You never know "who's who" in an online community full of strangers, and I take responsibility for anything I share on here, but it's kind of pathetic someone would do that.

Now, I don't know exactly what the intent was of the person who did that. There may not have been any malice towards me behind the decision, but maybe the guy did it to get a kick out of contacting her just for its own sake. I can't be sure.

My natural accusatory instincts would lead me to think, if the message was sent yesterday, that it had something to do with that thread about living in Socal without a car. The dialogue got rather heated and I'm thinking someone - whether a lurker or someone who posted in that thread - may have been motivated to "retaliate" for that. Like I said, this theory would only make sense if the message was sent yesterday (the day I created that thread).

Anyway, I don't really care, but I've been asked to take down that thread. I don't have the means to do so, but if Roosh or Tuth are reading this and can do it, please do. Understandably, the girl was pretty alarmed to find her business on full display online.

Again, I ultimately take responsibility for what happened with that. I will be more circumspect in my posts going forward.

There could easily be a white knight or two lurking in the shadows.

Know your enemy and know yourself, find naught in fear for 100 battles. Know yourself but not your enemy, find level of loss and victory. Know thy enemy but not yourself, wallow in defeat every time.

How do you know it was a forum member? Anyone can anonymously browse this site without even being a member. Something like this happened awhile back where a guy posted a link to a CS profile of a girl he laid and somebody contacted her. It could've been a chic.

You said that someone made an anonymous profile to alert her. If you know the link to that profile, you can see what city that person last logged into and it may give you a clue who it is or who it isn't.

In the future, as a rule we should not post links to any CS profiles in here. To easy for a hater just lurking to do some damage.

Good point. I hadn't thought of the fact that the threads are viewable to the public - members and non-members alike.

As for the anonymous profile, doesn't Couchsurfing allow a member to disable the feature that tracks where they log in from? That may have been a recent change from what I heard (?)

Damn, bro, let the car thread go. For real.

A few weeks ago, a guy posted a chick's really obnoxious POF profile. (The "lifecaster" thread.)

Some LA guys were gonna hit her up, try running game, and report back.

A mangina sent her a link to the thread.

There are a lot of psycho creepy stalkers lurking here.

That's why you gotta keep your pics and real name off this board.

Definitely not cool. Plenty of sub-betas are here. And haters.

At the same time, you shouldn't be posting names and pics of people who know you.

The lifecaster thread:

Watch your back and be careful with your info, guys.

There are a lot of creepy fucks lurking here, saving data into spreadsheets, and otherwise being stalkers.

Haha. It wasn't you, but someone else on that thread that had me suspicious. I'm not looking to point fingers anyway.

You're right though. That's why I removed all my pics when Roosh's site got hot after it made that bs SPLC list.

Does everyone think this forum should be private? I'm always worried about the lurkers and haters watching us...

54 posts 1300 views HC do you think we clicked on that thread 1300 times? We have haters and even a forum dedicated to hating on us and others.

Probably not a member... tons of lurkers here, some are haters.

Remember how my Reddit Denmark troll project got busted?

I don't recommend posting links to real life profiles and what not.

HC: Send me the link to that thread again.

God not this shit again. The forum will NEVER be private. No point bringing it up.

Also HC no mean to get on you but a lot of your threads are what I call "drama threads". This could have easily been handled with a PM to me instead of accusing a member when you have absolutely no evidence of that.

Yeah, it bothers me too. I regret a few things I've posted even if they didn't reveal names and identities but just because of specific details.

I've actually thought about being strictly a reader and not a poster for the privacy reason alone.

Edit: Just saw your post, Roosh.

This. I'm sure there are tons of women, white-knights, feminists, manginas, etc. lurkers who browse this forum, google makes finding Roosh's site very easy and anyone can read it.

I really doubt that anyone who is an active regular member of this forum would snitch you out, that seems like a real stretch, especially over something as petty as spite.

Before I was stoked that the rooshvforums are open to the public, I got a lot of great stuff before I joined, however now being a regularly posting member for two plus years, I do feel that it might be good if the forums went private. At the very least, what I'm thinking is that a person has to register and join to read the forum, even if they don't post.

Just use the text message test before posting shit here.

If you wouldn't mind it being posted on the jumbotron during the Super Bowl, post all the details you want.

Otherwise, post as if thousands of strangers are looking for something to embarrass you, or the subject of your post, with.

Basically, posting someones CS profile, along with a lot of details that are probably NOT on that profile, was irresponsible.

Another example was the Mixx AirBNB thread. Not because he posted about using Airbnb to swoop broads, but because he said where his apartment was, how much he was charging, description of the broad he honed, etc. There was no need for such details to lay out the plan. That's just asking for shit.

HC is a big-time sharer here. I don't think we should criticize him for being generous.

Some thoughts - Fake names, hypothetical situations, someone she looks like, but is not her.

Lame, I've been burned like this. The difference the girl I posted was fat. I photoshopped cake and chocolate all over her face and posted it on a forum. A guy sent the thread to the fat girl on facebook and she was pretty devistated to say the least. Her friends told her to press charges on me.

People who do that are punk ass bitches. You might think the internet is huge but it just takes one dickhead that knows you and people you know to cause alot of drama.

The thread is hyperlinked in the OP.

I had thought of PM'ing you (at least for the part about taking down the thread), but I think it's important for members to know what happened. There's nothing wrong with that. I didn't accuse anyone in particular.

Not sure what you mean by "drama threads." I post a lot of good data.

She's kind of hot. But what's she whining about?

I just looked at her couchsurfing thing, and it's like a billboard for what a slut she is. If my dumb ass can read it, so can everyone else?

She's mad because people can see that she's a slut through another website other than the one where she tells everyone what a slut she is? What kind of bullshit logic is that?

I got a house on the beach in a location a lot of people want to come to. I also have a big L shaped couch that can pull into a bed. Shit I got an extra bedroom. Am I missing out on sluts like her that will just fly out and blow me for a place to stay? Please advise.

Aloha!

Removed her picture and CS thread. I'm sure she was not pleased about how we all thought she has been around the South AMerican block. [Image: lol.gif]

Guys, if you post a link to someone's profile on a social networking sites, make the assumption that a mangina lurker will contact her.
