Buying a wedding band for myself

I'm not getting married.

Let me first say that I salute you guys who have your own business or who are otherwise free. I'm not. To make it worse, I operate in an environment with a lot of obnoxious highly-educated women. Many of them are annoying as fuck and sexually aggressive on their terms. That's the key part. On their terms.

It would be great if I could fuck 'n' chuck 'em, but I'm pretty sure I'd take a professional hit. I actually just quit a job-related service activity b/c the women were just obnoxious. Attention-whoring, shit-testing, and otherwise stupid American chick behavior. From ugly women. Old women in their 50s. Young attention whores. Girls looking to get married/re-married.

I'm getting a band and wearing it in select environments to get a better hold on this. To tamp this shit down.

I'll probably use it in some social/bar environments as some type of experimentation.

I'm new here so maybe I'm just not picking up on something others will find obvious...but, why? What is 'appearing married' going to give you a better hold on?

I thought women were onto the wedding band trick already? Atleast in circles in which i move.

That's fucking uncanny. My roommate was just talking about this. I'm a little too young to pull this off, but I'd like to hear from others' experience with this. My roommate said his friend who is legit married actually gets quite a lot of interest for it.

A long-time friend of mine in Tennessee did this and said more women flirted with him after wearing the band. The good thing is that you automatically know from the get-go that she's going to be DTF quick.

Just put a ring band on your middle finger. That will get some attention. I've had girls ask me if I'm married... I was thinking to myself, are they really that dumb that it's not even on my ring finger??

Are you that much into deception? If so, go on, young man.

What do you mean by 'taking a professional hit'?

He also tried being completely honest. Funny that honesty got him the hotter woman, in my opinion.

In some work environments, this type of stuff can get you warned or disciplined if the drama spills out openly. And with women being as crazy as they are, it's a risk you run. Assume the drama doesn't spill out, there's still office gossip and politics which can subtly impact anything from raises, work assignments, promotions, etc. Have I seen it affect other people? Yeah, I have.

Not all these women are harassing me, but a few of them are. There's this one bitch who constantly gets in my face to cause shit. The most obnoxious ones are single. This is where the wedding band can help out.

Not necessarily. Some girls will flirt with married guy because they see him as 'safe' to flirt with because he can't do anything but harmlessly flirt. Girls like to flirt.

And some will do it to see if their charms are sufficient to induce married guy to cheat - but knowing they can seduce him is enough.

And of course, some will go all the way. But simple flirting isn't a sign she's DTF.

Married guy game is especially good when hunting for married women - they want to know you have as much to lose as they do if you are caught.

This and pretty much only this.

A wedding band is going to get girls thinking your safe to talk too and flirt with. But the majority of them will not take lightly to you trying to fuck them when they know you are married. It will make you look like a creepy asshole to the typical female.

There are a small percentage of women who are turned on by sleeping with a married man. Theres another small percentage that subconsciously want what they can't get that will be into it as well. And some more than want to have the ego boost of knowing they can seduce a married man, but are probably not going to fuck. Overall, its not going to get you far.

Using it to pick up chicks wont work well. Using it to ward off sexually aggressive women might, I dont have experience with that.

I used to work with a guy who got hit on nonstop at work. He had no qualms about it so he went for it, banged a couple girls, and obviously developed a bit of a reputation and risked his job. He WAS married. After I saw the 8th girl flirting with him at work I asked him wtf his secret was. This guy was overweight and not very attractive but an absolute aggressive asshole. His reply? He held up his wedding ring and waved it in my face.

"...so I gave her an STD, and she STILL wanted to bang me."

But maybe the difference was BEING married rather than having the ring.

According to Hamster Activation Theory; women's more sluggish sex drive may need activation like KNOWING you're fucking someone else.

They like shit like being called a filthy whore while they take it, so who knows what kinds of humiliation they need to get off, or just get hot for a guy they fantasize about.

I had a woman ask if I was married when she saw my college ring - on my right hand!

A number of things going on, probably:

-Preselection (another woman wanted him enough to marry him)
-Signalling comfort traits
-He'll be motivated to be discreet about (Athol Kay's phrase is "keep her secrets")
-She can get right to business without worrying about getting him to commit.

This brings to mind Roosh's aphorism that once a woman groks that you won't commit to her, she'll drop all resistance and sleep with you. Chicks string guys along for free shit, but they also string along attractive guys in the "boyfriend zone" because they don't want to play their trump card before they get the commitment in return.

People want what they cannot have, for that reason I would suggest never ever tall a girl that you are single. Even if its a Russian chick.

yeah, Russians are pretty bad, but part of me thinks where I live has a factor in all this.

guys, i've decided that i need to move somewhere else within a couple of years. i'm at the local coffee shop to take care of some work, and next to me are four people. dad is essentially bribing his daughter with money and incentives so that she passes this one final class so that she can get her high school diploma.

"if you pass this class, that's an extra $2,000 that you can spend on your wedding."

yeah, you heard me right. her fiancee is there holding her hand. 18 y.o. potential dropout wants to get married.

All you beta guys who come across this board, you really should move here and try your luck here.
