Mike, have you tried coconut milk in a protein shake? I put some in my strawberry/banana flavoured one, it was UNREAL.

YES, it's delicious.

I am drinking a Super Greens (datasheet to follow) shake right now.

Made with:
Greens powder/digestive enzymes
Raw protein powder
Hemp milk
100% raw cocoa
Coconut flakes
Banana

This is my current go-to while being on Atkins. When I dial back the low-carb and bring some fruit back into my diet I'll probably modify it with a banana and some other stuff.

Few ice cubes
2 scoops of preferred chocolate protein
8oz of almond milk (unsweetened)
1 tbsp of coffee grounds (preferably flavored but unsweetened, I like chocolate)

The coffee grounds make it gritty, but I'm a bit of a cretin so I like the off texture that it has. The trade off is that the straight coffee adds a ton of good flavor (and I'm sure some caffeine for a post workout pick-me-up) I'm currently stabbing holes into my K-cups (lol) which is a bit inefficient, but hey it works. Im gonna try using an already brewed cup tomorrow, see if I cant give those old ones some new life.

Another one I like is chocolate protein and peanut butter. I used to make them using Atkins shakes, but I'll probably start making them with the almond milk and protein powder soon. Add in a bit of cocoa powder to increase the chocolate flavor and its pretty damn good.

Question: where do you guys buy the filter bags? Offline store suggestions please.

Tip: Almond remains can be a paleo alternative to breakfast cereal / oatmeal. Just add cinnamon and agave nectar.

The coffee/chocolate protein powder combo is unreal. I don't know how big Tim Hortons is in the US, but here in Canada is HUGE. They have 'ice-caps' iced cappuccinos and they're fucking delicious, but all sugar. Last summer I made a protein shake version that tasted exactly the same, no one could tell the difference.

1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 cup of milk (almond milk would do I guess)
1 heaping tsp instant coffee
Ice.

Blend it up and sit in the hot sun getting your protein while cooling down.

Here's my morning shake:

2 cups of almond milk
2 frozen bananas
1 cup raw oatmeal
1 scoop of almond/peanut butter
dash of maple syrup or honey
scoop of organic protein powder

This takes about 3 minutes to make and I immedietley transfer it from my blender into a glass container and then into my laptop bag as I leave for work.

I love taking my breakfast "to-go" !

I just made a shake with a used K-Cup I think it actually turned out better, as the already brewed grounds were a bit softer.

Happy to hear a lot of members on the A-milk. Its truly great shit. What I love is that it last a long fuking time in the fridge. Its just almonds and water I had half a carton I forgot to throw out before vacation came back it was well past the expire date and shit was fine.

Coconut milk + Almond milk + Hemp = Male holy trinity

You will fuck and make all types of gains forever on that regimen. I plan to down that mix daily into my elder years. It hits all of A mans nutrition needs for growth and rejuvenation.

You'll like it a lot - it gives a great nutty flavor to whatever you're adding it to. It's also a great source of Vitamin E (I use almond milk and peanut butter to get the majority of my Vitamin E).

I like to pour almond milk over my raisin bran cereal - it just tastes so much better (with certain cereals) than cow's milk.

I no longer buy Almond Milk.

I make my own "nut milk'", as needed.

I use almonds, walnuts, dates, and water

3 handfuls of nuts + 2 cups of spring water + 3 dates (remove seeds

This is the base for my morning smoothie.
