Think of Ireland and you probably have 100’s of clichés in your head. From green shamrocks to leprechauns and old men sipping pints of Guinness -there is a lot to get past before you scramble ashore on the real Ireland.

So is it worth going to? Yes

Will you have fun? Yes

Will you get some hot girls? Maybe...

Beyond chasing the ladies it is still well worth a look, for Ireland is one of Europe’s gems, a scenic extravaganza of lake, mountain, sea and sky that’s still gorgeous enough to make your jaw. From the lonely, wind-lashed wilderness of Donegal to the picture-postcard harbour villages of County Cork, there are countless opportunities to get outdoors and explore, whether it’s surfing some of the best beaches in Europe or hiking the hills of Kerry and Connemara.

All the major cities such as Dublin, Cork and Galway have top-notch restaurants, party-on pubs and a foot-stomping live-music scene, while you can track down impromptu pub sessions of traditional Irish music in places like Lahinch, Doolin and Killarney.

So let’s get into how to make the most of it:

Right straight up I’d say the best way to approach Ireland is to go with a good attitude and not solely for the purpose of banging the locals. I say this from knowing International friends who have visited and have had very mixed results with the ladies. I would rate it as an intermediate-advanced game location. That being said if you have good game and know the right places to go there is no reason why your trip would not be epic. Most people who have been to Ireland once always come back again and again.

Night Clubs vs. Bars

I would stay clear of nightclubs unless you have already laid the ground work with someone and it’s more of a location bounce. Ireland’s nightclub are the hardest place to pull due to the high level of bitch shields, the too drunk girls and way to loud music. You wouldn’t be able to run any game plus dance floor game doesn’t work too well here. I think the best idea would be to do explore during the day and then start hitting the pubs around 8pm.

I am not go into what exact bars to visit in Ireland because there is literally thousands but instead what way to plan your night.

Pick a bar of a busy street or close to the centre of given town/city. Look for a bar with decent music, large bar and good smoking area. The layout of the pub is crucial. Look for bars with good circulation as you will be hoping to meet the most amounts of people possible. Like nowhere else I have ever been being able to meet the highest amount of people in a night out greatly increases your chances of pulling. It is a number game here but there is many ways to increase your odds.

Dress Sharp

Good clean style with a European look. The only place wearing a suit will work for your advantage is in high end bars in the major cities. Everywhere else aim for a slightly alternative but still fancy look.

Something like this…

Dressing too well, as in suits or super expensive clothes, will only hurt your chances. Irish girls prefer smart casual dressed guys and will be suspicious of you if you look too rich. Not sure why but people kinda freak out a little if you are dressed too well.

Stay sharp and stay sober(ish)

Everyone gets drunk in Ireland but on the nights you want to pull show some restraint. Most Irish lads don’t have good game because they get hammered and then try and make some drunken move while they can hardly stand. I have literally seen guys try to pick-up while getting sick next to the girl. Don’t be these guys. At the same time people get suspicious of people who don’t drink so try and find a nice balance. Stay on the pints and avoid doing shots. Having good game helps because it’s all about being able to get a good conversation going, being funny and constantly having logistics in the back of your head. Again the best places to start these are at the bar and in the smoking area. Avoid sitting down at a table in any pub. Always try and keep yourself beside a high foot- traffic area. It’s all about being seen and being social.

Attitude

Be friendly to everyone. Everyone. That includes the old women at the bar and the old guy by himself in the corner. You will be judged a lot by how you handle yourself with everyone in the bar. A great trick in Ireland is to open the easiest person possible but someone that is within view and hearing distance of a different group that you actually want to talk to. Trust me they will be listening and then you can easily switch over to them.

Game style

Don’t try any crazy palm reading stuff or some routine. You will get openly laughed at. Instead good story telling, humour and being social. Again it is all about being interesting, well presented and always having logistics in mind. Try and read the situation well as Irish girls can be total sluts if given the chance but at other times you will be unable to get anywhere because of the social setting.

All the guys that I have known to have done well here all had a similar style of game. They could all be the party, knew how to drink but stay sharp and could read the situation well. Most of the time in Ireland misreading the situation is what will kill it for you. Or complete random bullshit. For example I was getting on great with this really cute girl for about 30 minutes when her friend runs over out of nowhere, throws the girl I am talking to over her shoulder and shouts ‘he’s a redhead’ and runs out of the club with her at full speed. Gone. I could only laugh but it shows the drunken randomness that goes into every night out over here. I actually just turned with a big smile on my face and opened another girl beside me about how crazy girls are. She loved it. That is what it is all about here- go with the fun and have a great attitude no matter what. If you are the kind of person who laughs when things go ridiculously bad you will get on well here.

I am doing this post in parts so when I get time I will edit this next and put in all all the different towns/cities/tourist spots that are great to visit.

Hope this helps people since it’s the first one of these I have ever done.

Thanks for reading.

I've not been in a decade, but it's definitely off the beaten path for Americans. The countryside N. of Belfast was beautiful. I was just curious if anything has changed.

Great data sheet so far. I agree with the staying sober, proper attitude, and style parts. These worked for me well in England. Looking forward to the rest of your report.

I owe so much to this forum.
I am heading to Belfast this afternoon after a very expensive stay in London.
I am considering heading to some northern towns to soak in some scenery while allowing myself a little downtown from everything that life throws at you.

Any questions on the place please let me know.

Make sure to hit the Giant's Causway and Bushmills Distillery. Just riding up the coastline is interesting. I was there in the winter as well. Probably wouldn't hurt to do a walk through the University of Ulster too.

hit up Queens area, nice area, some fine (and usually friendly) student totty around those parts
irish chicks are not renowned for SNLs, but if you have good game and logistics (and a hip flask of vodka), it can be done

I actually have a girl coming to see Northern Ireland with me that I met in London till Thursday the 10th, but I am here on a work visa so i'll be sticking around for three months or so. Belfast was initially my goal to save money for my return to Warsaw as for me the women don't come close to the Polish birds so I can keep focused and stay motivated by the thought of those legs in those shoes..

However I'd be up for a catch up and some nights out when I'm back!
I'll keep everyone posted.

Any of the guys that spent some time in Belfast within the past year have any data? I'll be headed there in a couple months. I've been there before (wasted to much time on touristy stuff) so I'm semi-familiar with the city.

Also might be headed to Derry/Londonderry if anyone has any info on that as well.

Bangor seemed like a nice enough place last time I was there. Is that more of a summer time tourist thing or would it be worth it to go there off season?

For any of you cats living in Dublin:
We've been having a good spell of sunny weather in Dublin the last few days.
And there's been a corresponding increase in cute women walking around in the city.
The quality is about 100% better, than a few weeks ago, probably cos there's a lot more tourists around now.
Just today, I was on the quays, sat outside a coffee shop, in the sun, in the space of about 20 minutes, several 7s and a few 8s walked past.
I was kind of flaked out from lack of sleep, and didn't attempt any kind of interaction with chicks (aside from harmless banter with waitresses, shopgirls).
Yeh, I know it's an excuse I know, I have a gf so it's easy to get complacent about things and lose your flirting skills.
But there is so much goddamn fine ass talent walking around at the moment in this weather, that it would be a crime not to at least try some casual daygaming.
Hell, I even know a few good openers, and there's always GALNUC, but tiredness and lack of balls, means I wuss out.
It's not like I haven't slayed foreign poon before, but it's often been through circumstance, or chance encounters, or drunken makeouts, etc
Rarely have I gone up to an attractive woman here and started up a conversation, and that's got to change.
Anyone else tried daygaming in Dublin?
How did you get on? And where(what locations) did you find good?
I seriously need to give myself a good arsekicking, for letting some of those 7s and 8s just walk right past me, without so much as even giving them eye on eye contact and smiling or saying hello, and seeing how they respond.

Anybody ever hit up the Galway Races? It's coming up and I've heard good things. Any insider/local knowledge would be awesome.

Also... what is the social media app of choice over there.... tinder? whatsapp? Something new and cool that I haven't even heard of before?

I'm staying in a house by the University hospital...not the BEST logistics, but it shouldn't be awful...15-20 minute walk to a bunch of the bars....easy cab ride. Although cabs might be hard to come by that week.

I do plan on bringing a suit or two, I heard one of the nights everyone gets dressed up, Kentucky derby style. Budget is reasonably high.... I'd be grateful to hear any and all recommendations for places to eat/drink/game.

Galway Races "massive" in the sense that girls all over Europe attend... or is it mostly an Irish thing?

Thanks again, I'll brush off my Tinder app.

The more I go out in Dublin, the more I realised that the only place you're guaranteed a decent footfall of tourists to hit on is Temple Bar area, at least during the week anyway, when there's fuck all action happening in the bars and clubs.
You will find some Irish girls out and about too, however (unless drunk) they often require a lot of work for little reward (most Irish girls are 6 at best and that's being kind).
My experience is that going direct with Irish women is a non-starter unless the chick is drunk, and even then she might blow you off.
Indirect is the only way to go on them and like I said, it's often for little reward, so me and my bro usually stick to the touristy venues, where you tend to have less bitch shields and prettier women (aside from some of the US/UK tourists who can be quite chubby sometimes).
I intend to do a Datasheet on Dublin soon.
(Might not be 100% comprehensive, particularly re the Club scene, as I'm rarely in the Clubs these days)
