I started out doing the 1-2 week trips where I stayed in a hotel. I have found that I prefer the multi-month trips where I stay in a condo or apartment.
There is a lot of wisdom in this post , I am starting to experiment with Apartments/Condos myself and will see how that goes compared to atleast a 4 Star Hotel, Only problem is my trips are very short 2-4 days only......
