What's better an Iphone or an android? I'm not too tech savvy but not tek illiterate either...

Adroid for me, no doubt! If you liketo spend 600+ $ on the newest I-phone, go ahead. My China brand Android smartphone costed less than 100$ (new) and does exactly the same stuff.

If you are a bit of a geek, you can go a step further and tweek it as you like. You wll enjoy the freedom you have in programming your Android device, it is all open source.

Elderly approved!

Houston: you'll have to unlock it first if you want to use a local number (new SIM card). Otherwise you will have to pay for roaming and what not.

I've been doing a variation of this. I get a perplexed look on my face and say, "Is your wifi working? [or "are you getting wifi?"] Mine is acting all crazy." Then I can ramble about my phone or computer, her computer, the place, whatever. That's easily 5 minutes of ramble, with a dozen of capillaries you can deviate to.

Tip N Split - Used at date situations and it makes it easier for both people to evenly break bread and pay the tip.

Congrats Roosh on your Samsung Exhibit 4G. Great device. Only thing I strongly doubt is that you'll use the lightning fast 4G power in Industrial shithole ! [Image: undecided.gif]

Also consider ROOTING, if you are comfortable with it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVXMjVpMX...re=related

Anyway, enjoy your new toy, it's addictive.

@Sambellamy: tested Pet store opener yesterday and worked smoothly. She had a (ugly!) plant in her hands so I could actually have referred only to that prop, which I did in the Ramble.

I do this on the subway. I ask "are you getting service?" when it's underground and ramble about how I'm thinking about switching carriers etc etc. I agree, it's a great source of material.

Actually, Google Translate already has an SMS translation function within. I use it all the time when practising french with my francophile buddy

Thanks for the video on rooting. I am thinking of putting a new ROM on my unlocked android phone that I bought so I can wipe this older version of Android.

The wordreference app (requires data/wifi) gives better definitions for a single word than google translate
Obviously the facebook messenger app in addition to facebook, Skype, evernote, amazon mp3, etc.
TripIt is great for travelers, google voice (if you set it up while in the US) can allow you to receive/send free text messages to/from a US phone number when you are connected to wifi/data overseas

I use the DTF Meter on chicks during dates. There's a free version, but you can edit the statements in the 99-cent version.

Several ways I work the Android if she has an iphone:

Her: Do you have signal?
Me: Yep, I have an android app that is taking your signal and battery. Thanks. (then use the fake call to prove it.)

Me: Is that an iphone?
Her: Yes, why?
Me: Cool, I've been wanting to try this android app that makes your phone blow up. Hold it out and I'll see if it works.

^^^ Most girls actually believe that shit will actually work. A senior sales girl in AT&T actually believed I was gonna wipe all her data out. Lol.

I do this mostly to fuck with iphone users. LOVE IT!!!

Unfortunately most of the pickup apps that I've tested on Anrdroid, Windows 7 Phone, and iOS are still fairly limited. There are a few proximity dating ones and there was one on Android called Pickup something that mostly contained outdated information from the likes of Mystery and David DeAngelo. I'm actually considering releasing one myself for free (I'm a developer), so if you guys have any suggestions for an app that would be useful for pickup then let me know.

My phone does that anyway, sms in foreign languages are translated with the touch of a button. Also have Google Translate on my front screen.

AirBnb has an app now..
Get off the plane...find a place...get the keys.

You can find places pretty last minute if the person is available..but too bad they dont have something where you could magically get rent an apartment at 1am..

Google has a app called Schemer. it seems like both people and business use it to tell people to come to there places..or gives ideas on stuff do do in the area.
People pretty much "sign in" if they are doing said activity.
Since it involves having a google + profile you can see the people here.

I checked a bar the other day and more girls than guys checked in.. 2:1 and some of the girls were decent.
I dont even use google+ but some people have more than one pictures.
You can pretty much figure out who's at a event before you get there

I didnt go to the bar to check it out for myself..but It could potentially be a way to find hot chics and already have some info on them before you get to an event..so when you see them..they look familiar

All on iphone - not sure about android:

Geocaching: I think it's kind of pricey (~$10); however, it would make for a spontaneous and fun diversion with a girl if you're around an area with some geocaches to go hunting for.

Taxi Magic: Love this app and have been using it a lot. I can discretely request a cab to my location and see when it will arrive without ever making a call. I may try ubercab.

SayHi: Seems very cool, but I haven't used it much. It translates your speech or any audio to and from any other language. I did test it with a Colombian ex-gf and it had accuracy issues.

Sleep Cycle: If you suffer from terrible sleep habits like myself, this app could be useful for you. If nothing else, it's interesting. It charts your sleep cycle (deep to near-wake states throughout the night. Tells you average time slept per night etc. It uses sensors in your phone to measure your movement in the night which corresponds to cycles. Clearly will not be accurate if you have a fly girl in bed with you.

iStart Spanish: best language app I've found, unfortunately it's only available in a few languages (Spanish, and I think a few Asian languages). Provides lessons in conversational form. Nicely designed.

Busuu language apps: Been using the Portuguese one, also a nice website.
