Neck Hair

We've got a few grooming threads going on but I haven't seen one tackle this specific issue, which afflicts me in a bad way.

Neck hair, those two or three strips of light growth below the hairline that make you look like a wreck. I swear mine grows faster then the hair on my head!

Anyone have a good solution, besides "Just shave it"?

You couldp probably get that shit lasered permanently...just speculation tho.

Oddly enough one of my buddies who kills it most with the ladies sports some extra dense neck hair...so it might not be a problem.

I did laser hair removal. It takes like six sesions, but def worth it. I might do a data sheet on it if there is a need.

I just shave it with a disposable razor.

You can increase the lifespan and effectiveness of a disposable razor by simply grabbing an old pair of denim jeans, turning the razor towards the top of the jeans and slide it up repeatedly 50 to 100 times. Then turn the razor around and repeat.

You can also 'sharpen' the same razor by sliding it up your arm (backwards, so dull side going forward so you don't shave your arm) about ten times. Your skin acts like leather -- and they used to sharpen straight razors with leather back in the day.

Chad, I just throw some shaving cream back there and shave my neckline every few days. Literally takes about five seconds in the shower.

jdelisi, bust out the data sheet. I'm not getting laser hair removal, but would be interested in reading about your experience.

Listen to this kid!

Thats a sailor out to sea trick. It works.

Don't do it on your fancy apple bottom jeans or what have you until you get the hang of it because those things are hundreds of dollars and you'll cut a hole right in them.

Aloha!

I've been cutting my own hair with clippers for the past two or three years, and I usually clean up the back by using a piece of blue painter's tape as a straightedge on my hairline, and clipping/shaving the area of my neck left uncovered by the tape.

You could wax it. Many places/spas offer deals on waxing for very small areas and might only charge a few bucks to do one small spot. I get the lower part of my neck waxed because I like to wear v-necks and don't want hair pouring out and it only costs about 10 bucks once a month.
