I rarely post under this category of money and lifestyle, but lately, I have been going to a new breed of GYM: Orange Theory Fitness.

The reason why I am so curious about owning/managing one of these Franchises is because it directly relates to what ALL of us here love to do: Chase HOT women, and make money!

In a nutshell, Orange theory is a COMPLETE personalized small group physical workout designed to get you in incredible shape, fast.

I have been going for 2 weeks, and I have visited several franchises in South Florida.

In every single class I have gone to, not only has it KICKED MY BUTT, but the women outnumber the men 7:1!

It gets better, EVERY SINGLE WOMAN THERE WAS AN 8 OR ABOVE!! Damn! ** Don't go by average looking girls posted on the videos on the website, those appear to be paid actors, and nothing like the SMOKING HOT WOMEN I see.

Forget LA Fitness, Bally's or conventional gyms where you slack off for 1 hr and say you work-out, wrong. This place is INTENSE Hear Rate based workouts.


Now, I don't have the resources $$$ to open my own Franchise, but this appears to be a very successful business model, and accidental game model. =)

According to the franchise app, you must have a personal net worth of $500,000USD and prepare to make an initial investment between 167K and 330K.

I wish someone here has the business muscle to open one of these, I'd love to be part of it without thinking twice about it!

I'm no businessman, but an average starting investment of 250k? That seems steep for an upstart company doesnt it? Checking out their website, I'm seeing a lot of balls, straps, and things that aren't heavy metal. Though from a business stand point thats a good thing. Despite its obvious success "Shut the fuck up and squat" doesnt make a good marketing campaign lol

I don't disclose my finances in a public forum, but I live a very comfortable lifestyle to the point where I take several months off to go pussy hunting in foreign lands EVERY YEAR, and never worry about being "laid-off" or losing a job. If that's not rich for you, well, then to each is own man =)

I'm extremely happy if that's what you want to know however.

What does the membership run at these?

I have been looking at investing my friends gym in CA who I spar with a lot (he was professional, used to box at Wildcard and quit and now trains).

I don't know the gym biz, so I wonder how the dollars and sense pencil out.

They have 3 different levels:

Premier: Unlimited sessions per month for 169USD flat.

Elite: Eight 1-hr sessions per month for $450USD (If you don't use them, YOU LOSE THEM, they do not roll-over like cell phone minutes!)

Basic: 4 1hr sessions with same rules as Elite.

Drop-in: Pay 25USD every time you show up for a session.


* Each session is 1hr of intense aerobic PLUS anaerobic exercises with a huge plasma TV showing everyones heart rate to make sure you stay in the "Orange" zone at 85% HR.

This is a great idea.

In LA, there is a pilates studio where my ex would train with all the celebs like buffy the vampire slayer and real housewives.

I've thought about picking up a side gig as a trainer.

Female fitness is still a growth industry.

Open one in South Beach, one in Fort Lauderdale.

Maybe one in South of France.

^^^ Waxing places and other businesses are what I'm looking to do in retirement.

I still have enough swagger/youth to pull with game. (But, in fairness, I'm not as into swooping as you guys.)

When I'm old, side businesses like this are what I'm going to use to pipeline.

Hell, we all know owning a bar is a bad business move. Yet old guys do it all the time.

I think for that amount of money, you could open up a laser skin treatment clinic. Charge 800 dollars a pop. Have all sorts of hot ass coming in and make shit loads more money.

Those types of places don't seem to last very long to me. It's always the next gimmick.

Well, hindsight is a great thing isn't it?

If you had of got in on Orange Theory back in 2012, you likely would have done very well.

The franchise has been a massive success.

I am interested in starting a waxing salon. Did anyone look further into it?
