I'm surprised how willing previous posters have been to judge this situation without having some crucial information. First of all, how old is Mr.GM, and what's his nationality? (Answer, from his profile: 26 years old, and Brazilian.)

Second, is the friend's mother currently married? If she is, is it to the friend's biological father or to someone else? If she's not married, is there a guy she's seeing? And if there is a husband or boyfriend, is he living at the house right now? I think Mr.GM is implying that there's no man in the picture, or at least no very significant one; but it would be nice to know for sure.

I was wondering how long it would take this thread to get here. Unless she's known for chaotic behavior, by all means bang.
