Lost one on a SNL shit test

Last week I was at a small club to see a virtually unknown band play. Got talking to a chick with "you look like you're having the most fun here" (thank you Uncle Roosh). She caught fire, and we kept separating and reconnecting during the night. She was cool and really interesting in addition to looking smashing. She gave me a dollar to tip the bartender and then bought me a drink on her own initiative.

A few minutes later (we had been chatting about an hour in three different sessions by this point) she asks "so am I going to get your number?" I told her that could probably be arranged. She said something along the lines of "are you just looking for tonight or will you actually call me?" Shit test #1.

I honestly don't remember what I said but she told me to take my phone out of my pocket and she punched her name and number in (the area code matched the out-of-the-way area she claimed to be originally from).

I kissed her at that point, she didn't really kiss me back. But she stayed talking to me and as the bar crowded we got closer and more nuzzly. Lots of kino, she was clearly into the whole thing.

I wonder if I didn't escalate enough at that point though (or should have isolated to another room). She was obvs fishing for whether I wanted to fuck her. The part that doesn't make sense to me is if she wanted to bring out my escalation game, why go through the charade of giving me her number (forcing it on me really) if I had already demurred on the "let's go fuck right now" route?

We kept talking and once the band ended I said "do you want to get out of here?" She said "yes," but paused and said "but I think I'm going to leave with my friends."

I was one drink too drunk (not shitfaced but just not thinking clearly enough) and should have taken it for the shit test #2 it was, with "I can get you home safe" or something like that. I didn't react, told her I knew how to get ahold of her, rubbed her ass and left.

The next day I sent her a Roosh text. Never got a response. I chalked it up to any of:

-A straight flake: chicks change their minds from drunk evening to sober daytime.

-I should have either isolated or exited her after she gave me her number, spending more time allowed her buying temperature to cool.

-She was angling for a good rogering, and just humored me after she gave me her number which she saw as me turning her down.

I talked this over with a friend who knows good game and he theorized that she wanted to be fucked that night, and when it didn't happen her interest dropped off.

Lessons:
-Go out every night prepared to score. Carry protection, of course, but also keep the drinking down, keep logistics in mind and don't get into a situation where you have to delay your exit so you're sober enough to drive.

-Keep all your skills fresh. I was miscalibrated - I've been spinning my day-game plates and was out of practice for high-stakes night game. I've read about other guys in early PUA days who went in angling for a Day 2, and lost some chances for SNLs that were on the table.

-Always be closing! ABC.

She said "yes," but paused and said "but I think I'm going to leave with my friends."

I don't understand why you didn't just grab her and say 'let's go then'

Always try to bang a girl as quickly as possible. The faster you move the more likely it is you'll bang her.

What you should have done was instead say, "Yeah I'll get your number later," and continue talking to her about whatever. Then just drop "So how are you getting home tonight?", find out the logistics, and then angle to move to her apt or yours.

I usually drive to my bars, so I'll say something like "I can give you a ride home," and then sneak in with the bathroom line, or if my house is closer I lure her back with the offer of drinks, weed, or something else cool to do.

You could have just grabbed her hand and taken her out of the bar.

You fucked up bad here, but consider it a good learning experience.

Good input Samseau and good story from OP.

I hate to discuss heresy here, but what about the possibility she's a relationship chick. Someone who actually wants to pair bond and have a day to day relationship with a guy?

This isn't a rhetorical question or a veiled criticism. I'm an LTR personality, and if I were the OP I'd have much rather have spent the [three (?) hours + functional recovery time (post-alcohol)] at home editing a movie than hanging around in a bar-- but I'd like to have a charming chick like you describe home with me!

From his writing style, I'm guessing the poster doesn't want an LTR, but let's say he did -- his game obviously got him to the point that she had some interest.

If you wanted an LTR with this chick, what should be done differently?

Is the here consensus bagging a chick for LTR is IDENTICAL to SNL strategy? Roosh has argued that and I'm not sure I agree. Since I suck at either lol I'm interested in the response.

NITPICKING:
No disrespect here, but does anyone think her giving you a dollar smacks of some condescension? Maybe she saw you didn't tip?
TO me the "are you really going to call" sounds plaintive, like she's an LTR chick.
Also, she said CALL and you TEXTED? Isn't that against the "higher emotion" rule of communication?

SPECULATION:
One idea I have from this story is she's a high value chick and knows it ( she's Murkan, right?), wants an LTR, and and is confident enough to show interest. However she still feels humiliated by past pump-and-dumps, and isn't looking for notches she knows she can get. Her knowledge of bar culture ( you're supposed to tip, maybe she was a bartender) indicates a period of promiscuity which she probably doesn't want to continue. But she's a risk taker, few chicks are bold enough to push their number on you like that. She's got 20, 30, 50 notches ( many drunken) and is starting to feel gross about it.

One think I know is that even as a GUY, I don't like fucking a hot chick once and finding out she didn't like me, and doesn't want to know me.
I want at least a few weeks or months of banging her brains out to make the pain of losing her less.

I don't claim any moral superiority for liking LTR, I just have different neurology I think. Pair bonding happens faster and stronger.

Concerning the giving a dollar for the tip, she could be a waitress or bartender. From my experience when out with these girls they are very big on tipping as they know that's how the money is made in those jobs. So, it's possible she may have thought he was a little light on the tipping but I wouldn't think it had much to do with the outcome unless it was an ongoing thing through the night.

Bad game. Out of practice for the night environs. These skills are highly perishable.

You've hit on something - I actually enjoyed talking to this chick, she wasn't just a target for sex. I would have enjoyed hanging out with her again. Beta? Maybe, but I like having friends as well as having sex. That combined with the fact that she had given me her number (which suggested she wanted to hear from me) relaxed me a bit, made me think I could count on a Day 2. That was stupid, I should have remembered Roosh's post about how flaking has gone epidemic - gotta go as far as you can the first time you meet her.

But then again, maybe giving me the number was some kind of pre-emptive flattering of her anti-slut defense, something that made it OK to go home with me since she'd gone through the "we should meet up again" motions.

What's awesome about the night, and makes the fail so frustrating, is the first two thirds of the night my game was off the charts. I wasn't thinking about it, it was unconscious. It wasn't even game, it was just me being a ridiculously attractive guy and acting like I knew it too.

"No disrespect here, but does anyone think her giving you a dollar smacks of some condescension? Maybe she saw you didn't tip?"

I actually asked her for the dollar as a compliance test, I had gotten about four waters from the bar and hadn't tipped because I had no singles.

"TO me the "are you really going to call" sounds plaintive, like she's an LTR chick. "

Or someone who has been pumped and dumped and wants some token reassurance I'm not that kind of guy.

"Also, she said CALL and you TEXTED? Isn't that against the "higher emotion" rule of communication?"

I never call girls anymore, even when they tell me to call half the time they don't return the call. However, almost every girl responds to the text.

As I said, I asked her for the dollar as a compliance test. I actually think this was a bit of a DHV, if a woman finds you attractive you can leverage the gentleman act for some extra value.

I don't have time to read all the responses and I'm sure someone else noticed this but, it sounds like you waited too long to hit her with the "let's get out of here" move.

She wanted to leave with you but couldn't leave with you as her friends were leaving too (they would see her after all).

If you had pulled this earlier I bet she would have gone for it and could have slipped out unnoticed or at least given a plausible reason to leave to her friends.

I think it was her friends judgement that you needed to circumvent in this case and because you were drinking and not used to a girl being ready to bounce you didn't act on it.
