Yeah, dating and one night stands have risks. Just like everything in life. But you have to take into account the chance of the risk. If you go for a walk and get run over by a drunk driver, are you responsible for it because you chose to talk a walk?

Technically you have a one in a million chance of dying each time you cross the street. So it's your fault, you chose to take the risk. Right?

Getting an STD or getting pregnant are real risks of our quick and easy sex culture that women should consider. Getting fucking murdered shouldn't be taken into the calculation.

What I expect women to do, and what women should actually do, are two very different things. Indeed, the difference between how women should behave and how they actually behave is the basis for game itself.

Actual criminal background check is ridiculous, although in this case it would have saved this girls life.

The point is that women should exercise substantially more care and caution than they actually do in terms of dating and sex. Since they don't, they should be held accountable for the consequences of their risky behavior. This is the only way to incentivize them to behave safely.

You mention the risks that women "should consider", as opposed to the risks they should not. Which is interesting, because as this story shows us, the risks you think they "should consider" don't include risks that ACTUALLY EXIST. It's kind of hard to see you as actually caring about young women, if you want them to disregard a danger that just claimed one young woman's life.

Comparing the chances of dying in a pedestrian hit and run vs. through domestic violence is also just silly. Even if fake feminist statistics overstate partner violence by 10x, it is still a very common and serious problem that women face, whether you like that fact or not. Women are mostly helpless to do anything about this, which is why acting like they are "strong and independent" is so silly, and why they should thoroughly vet men before dating or fucking them.
