The not knowing Mexico part is a massive factor, maybe where you're from it's the exception but Mexico is the rule if anywhere in the world is, stripping in Mexico is literally prostitution.

Don't really know anything about Mexico. I can tell you for sure that in Lisbon, and by the way also London, it does not work that way. But sure, many strippers are manipulative and dangerous girls, and many of them may be prone to sugar daddy schemes and other deals on the side, in particular with the guys they met while working.
