It seems most get nail fungus - also called onychomycosis . It is very difficult to get rid of. I had toe nail fungus for years. I tried everything but could not get rid of it. Then once my doctor prescribed to me Lamisil tablets for another unrelated matter. After some months all the nail fungi was gone - and I had back the bright while nails. However, after some time the nail fungus often returns. And I did get it back - but luckily this time on the small outside toenails that is not as visible. And I also got it on one of my fingernails - which bothers me more.
Anyone get nail fungus and successfully got rid of it? Lamisil has some side effects on the liver. I don't think I will go back to using it again.
