Just finished a 3 month saga with a Pakistani Muslim.
It seemed like she was lying to herself. Her internal thoughts were drowned out by external pressures from family, community and religion. She admitted huge insecurity and felt inferior to whites.
Has anyone else noticed any trends or had similar experiences with this demographic?
I hate to extrapolate my sole experience to a whole group. That's not what I'm doing. I'm curious how young Islamic women growing in the Anglo-sphere can handle such polarization.
Thanks
