Ciudad Juarez Report

As I stated in my thread about Guadalajara, I've been to Mexico several times but only to Ciudad Juarez. Anyways here's my review of the place.

I found the place rather disappointing in a lot of ways. First of all, it seemed like there was a surplus of men, especially in the bars and clubs; hundreds of women have been killed or disappeared since 1993, which very well likely explains the sausage fest. A few girls I met in Juarez were Americanized and brainwashed with feminism and political correctness. Even the woman who owns the hostel I regular stayed at was a hardcore liberal feminist. However, I did end up dating two women there.

The first one was a disappointment. She was a single mother, very short, uneducated, not very attractive, and she was a taker a lot of the times. In addition, she seemed really desperate, and only wanted to jump into a relationship with getting to know me just a little. Later on I found out she cheated on her 50 something macho boyfriend when she was interested in me. And she also abused her children, went to jail for a night, and now her kids live in a foster home.

The second woman was a lot better. She was not a single mom, worked in a maquiladora, college educated, and was even more attractive (she was at least a 5). Additionally, she actually DID want to get to know me rather than jump into a relationship really fast. She was originally from Veracruz, which explains her being non-Americanized. Going off topic a bit, I met a girl from Guadalajara, and as I walked her and her sister to work, she started asking me a lot of questions, and this should determine how well I do with Guadalajara girls when I'm in that city. However I didn't get to date her as she got pregnant with another kid. The best time I had with the Veracruz woman was when she and I went to Parque Chamizal. After waking around in the park, we sat at a picnic table, gave each other long hugs, and flirted.

As far as cold approaches, I had no problems with them. For example, I cold approached 3 girls on Avenida 16 de septiembre who were 8s. And they were curious about me. And a couple other women smiled as I made eye contact with them. One was after I crossed the border from El Paso, and the other was at an apartment complex. As previously mentioned, some of the women in Juarez have exactly the same standards as American women have. So for girls, it's somewhat hit or miss although it's a lot easier than the US.
