There's no other way to say this. European women are inflicting a strict eugenic program on breeding. They've literally bred their men several inches taller in a few generations.

Height aside from some rare human specimens is food related (pygmies). The Dutch were much shorter a few decades ago just as the rest of Europe.

Height improves instantly within each generation when the quality of food is increased.

They found 2000 year old Teutonic villages in Germany where most of the men were 6ft due to a steady good diet of plenty of meat, fish and local veggies. Then in the middle ages the average height collapsed tremendously due to hunting restrictions by the nobility, intermittent mini-ice ages lasting decades, idiotic dietary perceptions (not eating greens and herbs - anyone dealing with herbs being a potential witch etc.).

Eastern Germans for example rose instantly after reunification by 2-3 inches.

You don't even have to selectively breed much - even Chinese and Japanese can probably rise to over 6ft on average, but obviously their food habits and access to certain things would have to change. Though height is not automatically related to health or intelligence. The female instincts simply want the biggest motherfucker to wield the biggest club in the cave.

Also I would even dispute the fact that taller men reproduce more - shorter men are like uglier women - they settle down sometimes earlier being lower in SMV and have kids earlier on.
