There's an offensive term for this,which I won't use.
I'm not talking about women who have some gay male friends. I'm talking about women who have a lot of them or very intense emotional friendships with them.
Why?
Reasons I can come up with from personal observation:
1) She/s a lesbian or man hater, and sometimes needs a male companion for social activities, or feels safer with a malearound when out late with "the girls."
2) Fear of (heterosexual) men, often the result of real or imagined bsexual abuse, or strict upbringing.
3) Is unattractive, usually not because of genes but factors she can control (fat, unattractive personality) and these are the only men who want to spend time with her.
