I just clipped this status from a girl I know on Facebook. Made me cringe just reading it.
My son's are AWE-some, helped me do leaves today, chopped veggies for my stew that's crook pottin as we speak. They are going to make some girls really happy one day, thanks to mama whose raisin em right!!
Let me note for the record that this girl is a self proclaimed "Ho" and preaches the joys of anal sex every time I see her. LOL

There's no crime in a mother teaching her sons how to do these things. I was raised by a single mother, and it's more dangerous for a mom to do EVERYTHING for sons, like cleaning up after them, washing their clothes, etc. I learned how to cook things by watching, but as soon as I was old enough she taught me how to run the washing machine and iron clothes. Me and my brother had to keep the bathroom and house clean (we all took turns cleaning the bathroom). Of course, we were responsible for keeping our room clean. The difference is these life skills are important so he can take care of HIMSELF, not some bitch.

If only girls cared about men who know how to cook and care for them(selves). I cringe whenever I cook something and hear the good old "you're going to make some girl so happy". It has simply stopped being important, if it ever were.
Otherwise, I do agree that it's still a very important skill that needs to be taught regardless of gender.

Yeah this shit is getting out of hand. I was watching an old movie that took place in Japan last night and at one point, the japanese woman was up before the man, she had gone to the market, had made him coffe and his breakfast ready, had a warm bath already ready for the man. The american man, was stunned. To which the japanese woman simply replied: "In Japan, women are told from their childhood to please men". That right there sums it all up. THAT is the way it must be.
