I'd like to pretend that I'm deleting my profile on plenty of fish to decrease this girls resistance and make her think that I'm "the one". Is there a way of somehow blocking her so that she can't see my profile and it looks like it has been deleted?....when you make a girl think that you're "the one", they're down for anything on the first date...which will likely be the only date....

As for your strategy, there are better ways of piquing girls' interest than blocking them. Plus if PoF is anything like other social media sites you can just type in the username url while not logged in to see if you are blocked or not.

I disagree with this. What makes girls is hot and ready is not that you've selected her to be the princess as if it were some Disney cartoon. Unless this is some chick nearing forty who's ready to settle down. Then that kind of game should work.
