Need Advice on Travel Logistics - Spidey - 09-23-2016

Ok, I'm going to try to keep this as short as possible. I've started using this forum for guidelines in South America as I can't stand the travel websites that usually pop up on a quick Google search. It has been a great resource for me so far, and I'm hoping that you guys can help me out. Background: I am 24, just graduated college and am looking to relocate.

I just spent a month in Colombia and absolutely loved it. I am currently in Quito (the girls really are not very pretty here) and have a Workaway planned for next week in Montanita. My plans were to continue moving south to eventually find my way into Argentina. But I am now thinking that maybe it would make a lot more sense for me to use what money I have left for travel to establish myself in Colombia. Quickly checking airfare prices my plane ticket from Argentina back to Colombia would be pretty expensive. Right now I am in a position that I could re-enter Colombia with just a shitty day or two on a bus.

My real question here is: Is Colombia the goldmine of South America? Am I missing out on any truly amazing places by opting to move to Colombia now? What have your experiences been in places like Chile and Argentina?

Your plan is good. Don't bother with Argentina. Establish yourself in Colombia.
