Blizzard 2016 - Roosh - 01-23-2016

So I'm at the center of this monstrous storm. Snow has been falling for about 14 hours straight so far, with the worst yet to come.

Quote:Quote:

Heavy snow will continue to fall across the D.C. metro area early Saturday morning, creating near whiteout conditions when combined with wind gusts of up to 30 mph.

Snow could at a rate of up to 2 inches per hour through 5 a.m. Saturday.

A trained spotter for the National Weather Service reported seeing 7 inches of snow in Washington, D.C. Friday night. By Saturday morning, expect one foot to one and a half feet of snow in the metro area.

Authorities are warning this could be a life-threatening storm, with 2 to 3
feet of snow possible before it's all over. Snow is expected to fall continuously for 36 hours straight.

I had to make the decision this morning, before the snow started falling, if I wanted to be snowed in my house or snowed in my office. It was a no-brainer that I can get much more accomplished in my office. All I can do at home is sleep and watch t.v. Here in my office, I can get tons of work done and there is nobody else around, so there are no distractions.

Blizzard 2016 - Gmac - 01-23-2016

I debated going to a friend's or girls' place but would rather have the weekend to myself, and not be stuck with someone for 2-3 days. [Image: lol.gif] Got plenty of food, booze, reading material, workout equipment, and entertainment. [Image: thumb.gif] Looks like at least a foot here so far where I am, maybe two. The wind is supposed to pick up later. Might go out and throw some snowballs around before then.

Blizzard 2016 - spokepoker - 01-23-2016

We all know there really isn't any snowstorm because of global warming, you climate change denialists/heretics and your false narrative!

Blizzard 2016 - Dr. Howard - 01-23-2016

They were shitting their pants over snow here in east Tennessee. We got 1 inch and some ice instead of 6 inches. However, 3 feet of snow for DC...thats alot of snow even by Canadian standards. You'll need the national guard to get dug out.

More accurate picture of DC area women during a blizzard:

Blizzard 2016 - Days of Broken Arrows - 01-23-2016

I'm already noticing some of the older crowd on my Facebook feed saying things like "It's not as bad as the weathermen said! I've seen worse!"

These are the dottering old fools who venture out in snowstorms and

1). Screw up the snowplows by getting stuck

2). Cause your power to go out when they skid and smash into transformers

3). Waste time, money, and energy by having to be saved when they inevitably get stuck.

Therefore, I am calling on any lawmaker reading this to put forth a bill than bans anyone over age 50 (yes, 50) from driving anytime there is more than six inches of snow on the ground. We don't need a bunch of idiots thinking they can drive in this because they have misguided memories of the blizzard of 1996 or whatever. Stay the fuck home.

Man my blood is boiling over this. Traffic cameras show NO ONE on any of the roads in the DC region, yet the Metamucil Morons think it's time to go for a nice weekend drive. God help me.

Blizzard 2016 - robreke - 01-23-2016

Global warming/ cooling/ El Roberto?

Blizzard 2016 - kbell - 01-23-2016

Shit, anywhere from 8-24" inches here. Going to go shovel soon and find out. The worse thing is the wind chill which take it down to 10*F. I'm probably going to go out several times so the snow doesn't get to heavy to move.

Blizzard 2016 - YoungBlade - 01-23-2016

I blame this woman for the snow.

I'm glad nothing hit Chicago. We're lucking out this winter.

If it gets as bad as they say, everyone stay safe and stay warm!

Blizzard 2016 - Foolsgo1d - 01-23-2016

And the worse the UK ever has is few inches [Image: lol.gif]

Its actually warm here where I am.

Blizzard 2016 - Remington - 01-23-2016

I have shoveled multiple times already and there is still a foot of snow on the driveway, because Global Warming.

Blizzard 2016 - Lucky - 01-23-2016

Stuck on the east coast and it's way too fucking cold/snowy for this west coaster.

I went out last night-- still amazed when I see girls wearing miniskirts when it's 19 degrees outside.

Staying in and writing, reading, and getting some work done.

Blizzard 2016 - Handsome Creepy Eel - 01-23-2016

Roosh, why are you in Washington anyway? Isn't Poland nicer even at this time of the year?

Blizzard 2016 - GoldHawkStar - 01-23-2016

Anyone here live on the Jersey shore? Starting this morning, you guys are supposed to get a storm surge, which means that hide-tide flooding will mix in with the already-accumulated snow.

Roads will flood and moderate property damage is expected. Apparently they were even evacuating some areas of the state yesterday.

Meanwhile, Chris Christie was sitting on his fat ass in New Hampshire confidently saying the state did not need him.....until late last night when he flew back and declared a state of emergency.

Not only do I think know that he won't win the caucuses, but I'm starting to have doubts about him winning reelection for governor. Jerseyans are pissed.

Blizzard 2016 - Gmac - 01-23-2016

Time for a grilled bacon egg and cheese.

Blizzard 2016 - Libertas - 01-23-2016

I can barely see out my window.

Last year I wasn't too keen on the snow. This year though, after the storm is over, I might decide to take a sleigh and go to one of the hills in Central Park to explore a possible new day game demographic.

Probably won't find anything, but the pussy gods can always surprise you.

Blizzard 2016 - WestIndianArchie - 01-23-2016

There's so much snow at the back exit, that I can't get out that way.

Stocked up Tuesday, rum, scotch, vodka and red meat.

She lives just down the road from me, which makes her song utterly hilarious (but well done) The schools around here have been closed for 3 fucking days because we got 2 inches of snow. They were closed for 2 weeks last year because we got 5 inches of snow plus some ice.

When its 20 degrees F outside they keep the kids indoors for recess. I love the south, but they are damn pussies when it comes to winter weather.

PS, watch some of her other parody songs...only a public school teacher can make songs that rip her employer on a regular basis and not only not be disciplined but be invited to staff meetings to sing them.

elementary school teacher ranks right up there with 'most difficult job on the planet' along with stay at home mom

Blizzard 2016 - Last Parade - 01-23-2016

Meanwhile, in Toronto, clear skies and no snow in the forecast. I swear we haven't been hit by a major blizzard in years while you guys have been snowed in several times since, thinking about Buffalo's stupid amount of snow last year and now this... not living up to the Canadian snow stereotype here.

Blizzard 2016 - travolta - 01-23-2016

In NYC now, we're getting hit pretty hard. I had new girl from SeekingArrangement last night, woke up and saw a shit load of snow outside. Had her take the subway home, now I'm at home working. Supposed to meet another SA girl tonight during the blizzard but it looks like she'll probably cancel. I guess avoiding snow is more important to her than going to pound town.

Blizzard 2016 - D.C. Eagle - 01-23-2016

There were a lot of crazy drivers out around midnight. Thankfully most everybody has wised up and decided to stay off the road. My dad spent 3 out his 6 years in the Army stationed in Germany. He said that the government would close the roads to all drivers until the snow stopped. They experienced a blizzard every New Year. He was there during the Vietnam War. Not a crazy idea to close the roads out of common sense and safety.

You see FG, England is a tropical paradise in comparison to New England.

Think of it, England sent over its undesirables to the new world. Folks like the puritans and other religious separatists lived in a veritable frozen hell. England in comparison is wet, but incredibly mild.

Any time I hear someone complain about how miserable and dreary English weather is, I want to air drop them into New England and then the snow belt in late January. Idiots don't know how good they have it.

Blizzard 2016 - General Mayhem - 01-23-2016

Having grown up in a state where we seldom got snow days it's funny to see people freaking out over all this snow here in Virginia. Back home most people would just hop in the truck and drive to town.
