i still don't understand how people can continually feed us this garbage. Why is it *wrong* that beauty is valued? Because not everyone has it? Therefore making it worth something?

Next you will see a campaign saying that dirt is more important than gold.

I think the heart of the matter is for folks, especially impressionable young girls to hang their whole life on something that is subjective and oftentimes temporary.

I agree with the article. This is why attractive girls under 25 sound like retards, and cannot hold a conversation; all they hear is "ooh you're so cute."

Ever been the subject of excessive compliments? It's a conversational dead-end. All you can say is "thanks." Go through every day of your life like that, and your conversational skills are nonexistent. If hot girls were qualified for their personality, like plain girls are, things would improve.

Beauty is mostly objective, but constantly reminding someone of their beauty doesn't help their personality any.
