Paralympic athlete Stefanie Reid has become the first British amputee to model at London Fashion Week.
She opened Lenie Boya's show wearing a bespoke blade prosthesis featuring a chandelier.
Ms Reid told Breakfast's Steph McGovern it was great to get some diversity on the runway.
She added: "Normally when I'm out, parents will tell their children not to stare but here is a leg that was meant to be stared, it's meant to be embraced."

I'd hit it... even if she had both her legs

That makes it sound as though you would be less likely to bang her if she had both legs...

Better than the fatty campaigns if you ask me. Also she's not whining about discrimination or anything.

That could be because she most likely wouldn't have been a model if she wasn't an amputee.

Exactly

Less legs means more angles to hit it from.

I applaud her. She didn't make an excuse to get fat and instead got into great shape. Fatties should learn from her.

WB - she's attractive. Though, yes, without being an amputee she wouldn't have the opportunity to model

And American women won't even diet to lose weight...

How long will it be before we celebrate the first brave and inspirational amputee "model" who lost a limb due to obesity-related type 2 diabetes?

This girl is actually inspirational. She's young, attractive, married, successful and ambitious despite her physical disadvantages. She even mentions that her favourite artificial leg is the one she wears with 3 inch heels. It says in the article that it's great to get some diversity on the runway, and this is the kind of diversity I can get behind, not some push to give recognition to obese cookie monsters in an effort to challenge our beauty standards. She has gained recognition based on her actual achievements.

Compare it to this famous plus size "model" whose only achievement is to be body positive and very, very fat.
