Cruz is the safe choice. Kucksich would be a mixed bag. Lubio would be horrid.
Christie would be uninspired. Carson has some potential.

The Donald's unpredictable so the choice is his but I see Cruz standing on the stage with Trump come this fall.
By the way, R.I.P Cruz.

Lubio would be a yuge mistake

How would he come back from that ?

The Donald Trump VP candidate thread - Samseau - 03-11-2016

The VP will be someone who hasn't been mention in this thread. Trump is smarter than you.

I'm gonna go with Christie since no one else has, hopefully I'm wrong. I like Carson but I think he would be better for other positions. What do you guys think of Rand Paul as a VP?

The New Jersey Hamburglar would make for a terrible VP.

People dislike him a lot, he's flopped on a lot of issues even in his own state, and he obviously has the self control of a mid 20's American woman when it comes to food and probably a lot of other things.

If he is elected, the US will have to go a few more trillion dollars in debt, in order to keep the WH kitchen fully stocked.

Agreed. I really think he's going to surprise people (pleasantly) if he gets the nomination.

The only thing he did provide a hint about is that it is likely (notice the qualification) to be someone "political".

But just to add to the speculative fun, I was surprised to see Rudy Giuliani's name not come up in here.

We know they have a decent enough relationship that Giuliani is comfortable enough to cross-dress in front of Trump.

Donald Trump's VP will be one of his sons. That way he can say, "Like what I've done? Vote for him because I personally mentored him."

Most likely Eric, I don't think Donald Jr. has political aspirations.

You know who would be really cool as a VP?

Clint Eastwood.

Can you remember a better American badass? [Image: biggrin.gif]

I know it would never happen, but...How epic would this be?

Ted Nugent. Or honest Ted as I like to call him.

The Donald Trump VP candidate thread - BIG BOSS - 03-13-2016

As of this point, the VP won't be crubiosich. Perhaps, Carson. Carson would go a hell of a long way to broadening Trumps appeal. He's almost the anti-Trump in demeanor.

I don't think he will do this. I think it would be a bad idea and nepotism is never looked upon favorably. It would hurt him, even if only slightly.

It also wouldn't do anything to help him win the nomination or the general election.

The smart thing would be pick a VP who helps him win, and then put Eric into a high profile position and get him exposure for the next 4 years. Then pick him as VP for reelection, setting him up to take over as president after that.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Ivanka he gives the main push too though. To me it seems pretty obvious she is his favorite and she could make history by becoming the first woman president, and also first father/daughter presidents.

What better way to bolster your family legacy than that?

The Donald Trump VP candidate thread - Prince of Persia - 03-14-2016

Ivanka would be an excellent first female Prez. Sexy, intelligent, charismatic, classy, & conservative. She'd also be the first Jewish president as well.

The Donald Trump VP candidate thread - iop890 - 03-14-2016

His sons aren't even old enough.

Ivanka will be by November but I don't think that's a good idea.

The Donald Trump VP candidate thread - Samseau - 03-14-2016

Ivanka seems like a nice woman but not presidential material, especially not yet. Maybe when she's in her 70's or something.

Good, maybe we can compromise with the Dems. We'll trade you a Trump victory now for an Ivanka victory later, and we'll give you the first female AND first Jewish president.

Ted Nugent is awesom, an early influence on my guitar playing and yes he is quite popular in the UK. Donald should appoint Ted Nugent to Make American Rock Music Great Again

Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Proven record, celebrity, relatively moderate, and with Obama, Cruz, and Rubio America seems to have thrown out that whole citizenship requirement, so why the fuck not?

I'm not so sure about that, as he is not a natural-born citizen.

Also, unfortunately, he already came out to endorse Kasich.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/06/politics/a...hn-kasich/

He is establishment in this matter.

Weird thought: I wonder who Hillary will choose as VP.

oh, and Trump should pick Dwayne Johnson as VP. or Jesse Ventura.
