Lesbian teen feminist references wage gap myth in yearbook quote... and can't do math -

I just saw this story making the rounds and going viral:

Future high school seniors of the world, you have some major competition when it comes to memorable yearbook quotes.
Twitter user @casualnosebleed shared a photo of a yearbook quote chosen by her close friend Caitlyn Cannon on Tuesday, and in just one day, the image was retweeted almost 4,000 times. In her Twitter bio, Cannon describes herself as a "feminist" and "really gay." Her senior quote sums that up quite perfectly.
![[Image: CF6Wn4BUEAAF_Zj.jpg]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CF6Wn4BUEAAF_Zj.jpg)
The quote reads: "I need feminism because I intend on marrying rich and I can't do that if my wife and I are making .75 cent for every dollar a man makes."
Cannon, a 17-year-old who just graduated from Oak Hills High School in California, said she found the quote on Tumblr and changed the parts that were written from a man's perspective. She chose the quote because she wanted to leave something behind that was both different and true to herself.
"I was tired of seeing the same old quotes from popular books and movies and authors, and I wanted to call attention to a problem that women face," she said in an email to The Huffington Post. "I've never really been ashamed to say that I am gay, so the LGBT aspect was simply who I am."
While the feminists are jerking themselves off over Caitlyn's call for gay, female, and wage equality in one sentence, the first thing I noticed is ".75 cent." Apparently nobody ever told her that $0.75 =/= $0.0075. And I'm pretty sure that should be "cents", plural. I guess basic math and grammar is just too hard for lesbian teens. Unless feminists have now warped the wage gap myth to say women are only now making less than a cent for every dollar a man makes?
But good luck to the new high school graduate. I'm sure she will grow up to be a hardworking, contributing member to society.

She is one of those sifs I bet. Her face is a little round and her shoulders look big. Good for a Bj but no loss to society. I say this while believing she is 18.

I second it. She'll marry up - to a Beta-$ - and she'll be glad of the wage gap.

Awww, a 17 year old girl is dismissing famous books and authors because he likes a rug munching session or two.
Cute.

Her last name is one "S" away from her having a premade career as a stripper or porn star though.
She and her lesbian wife can be a double feature and split the tips...and when they go to do tours in canada the 75 cent per dollar wage gap will be true on exchange.

I just have to laugh more and more about this kind of thing. The language and rhetoric will date really badly, like a magazine from 1970 full of phrases like "right on!" and "freak out, man". Meanwhile the boring people who weren't "badass" will achieve better life outcomes on average, just like the "straights" from the hippy times.

Slave labour is prevalent among teen lesbians, and their wives! Hold a fe-men rally, and use this yearbook testimony as a fact to solidify the discussion.

after I recovered from a fit of laughter at "she will be riding dongs by 21" I agree...a lifetime lesbian but has nipple length long hair? I am suspicious about her commitment to the scissoring sisterhood.

So nice of her to include an example of why she is not worth the full dollar.
"i'm not going to earn as much as a man and here is me being a dumb cunt to prove it"
