French Protesting Declining Economic Conditions by Throwing Vegetables [retitled] - perverted sage - 11-07-2014

From Zerohedge:

Quote:Quote:

Having promised that he would not run again if unemployment rates remain high, French President Francois Hollande faces not just record low approval ratings but feces-flinging-farmers. In a show of protest against expressing their anger at collapsing prices (due in part to sanctions against Russia), increased environmental regulations, cheap imports, and high costs, thousands took to the streets, dumping pumpkins, potatoes, and carrots, burning cars, flinging apples, and spraying shit all over a government building in Toulouse. The French are not amused...

God bless them. Some of the only people willing to stand up for themselves and put up a fight.

I suppose it is obvious which party might gain from all this dissatisfaction.

The manure spreader attack has been my favorite political protest no matter which country it occurs in.

Vague thread title.

Do not rejoice too quickly

Front National will not have a French President before ages.

Damn, protests with *panache.*

The public sector in France reeks of inefficiency, not surprised at this.

I wonder if France will be the match that lights the tinderbox like it was in the 1800's?

We can hope that Marine Le-Pen's Le Front National take over and kick out the fuckin Commies.

The FN are even bigger commies. They're basically pro welfare statists with the only difference being the racial undertones.

Are we talking about French people here? [Image: banana.gif]

I'll add that these people deserve everything they get. Spoilt, arrogant and up their own arse on their self-importance. The farmers especially. If you want to know anything about French farmers is that they're some of the most cushioned and coddled farmers in human history.

They have so much trough cash from the EU they merely dump millions of gallons of milk down the drain "just because".

They voted in these socialists by a good margin and what do they do? They fuck the class of people who actually made production possible, you know, the well-off?

They taxed these wealth generators to high hell and were genuinely surprised that these same wealthy people fled to other countries and hid their fortunes.

This isn't taking into account cheap migrant labour, of which France has a huge surplus of.

It is funny seeing this from England. They and the rest of those in the EU who are drowning are struggling to make sense of it all after their scorched earth policy and a belief in punishing those with wealth. Its like burning down the government and getting pissed your weekly bin collection doesn't happen.

I hope it sets of a motion to destroy the EU in its current form. If only the UK could abandon it.

Funny how the French protest about everything. Spoke to my French friend about this, he said it's fashionable to protest there. Kinda like how college kids in the states put up pro-social justice political statuses on Facebook, only they burn cars and riot.

Quoting him 'Exams are coming up. They will stop protesting and start studying.'

Yep, protesting is a favorite national past time in France. One day it's the nurses, the next day, the pilots, then the train workers, then the teachers, then the bankers, then the farmers, not to mention the students and on and on. There's always a protest there.

Nothing new. Business as usual. Unfortunately.

My guess would be not getting a big enough raise or big enough bonus. [Image: banana.gif]

Yes those protests are really annoying. When I went it was time for the subway workers to protest, and I had to catch a flight in less than one hour... extremely stressful.

Why are the French always into destroying other peoples' shit?

French Protesting Declining Economic Conditions by Throwing Vegetables [retitled] - RexImperator - 11-07-2014

Alternate title: "Throwing shit on a ... government building."

Those saying that the French are arrogant, spoiled etc. have obviously never spent time in France. They're some of the coolest, most down-to-earth motherfuckers I've had the pleasure of knowing. The stereotype refers mostly to Parisians, and Paris is to France what New York is to the US: completely unrepresentative of the country as a whole.

French Protesting Declining Economic Conditions by Throwing Vegetables [retitled] - RexImperator - 11-08-2014

I've always enjoyed my visits there.

If there's anywhere else in the world that enjoys criticism of the anglosphere as much as the manosphere does, it's France.

So the townies have farms do they? Who receive vast benefits from the EU coffers because they're French?

Who blockade Calais or any other port. Go on strike in major towns and cities because the trade unions say so, just like those nutjobs in the UK who back Labour?

Paris is one city and of-course there are cool cats in France but you need a history lesson on how they tend to behave when it comes to confrontation.

I don't know about you but voting in and supporting a socialist party was the writing on the wall for France and they're suffering. As anyone should for voting in socialists.

Come to think of it, if you are a farmer and your crops are destroyed in flood or hail, the government declares a disaster and compensates you. But if your crops are destroyed because you weren't able to export them due to the government blindly declaring sanctions on another country, the government won't compensate you. I can understand the outrage. It's not just the hard time that are a problem, but the fact that these hard times are self-inflicted.
