My Fitness Journey - Krusyos - 10-20-2014

Some info on me, first:

Race: White
Height: 6'2"
Highest Weight: 260 lb

I started IF last Monday, along with a training program designed specifically to create a body ideal for attraction. Like an utter dumbass, I forgot to weigh myself until Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday, my weight was 206.9 lb
This morning, I weighed in at 202.3 lb

This is mostly water weight, obviously, but still quite encouraging. My BMI is 26.0, or slightly overweight. In reality, however, I think I'm at an average weight because I do have a bit of muscle (nothing amazing, mind you). I estimate I will be slightly bigger than Roosh when I lose all the fat.

The exercise routine did not go that well at all. I had a very busy week and only managed to get to the gym twice when I should have gone 3 times.

My parents are accusing me of being anorexic because I do IF, but I just ignore them. I fast from 10:00 PM to 4:00 PM the next day, or a 18/6 IF split. It's actually much easier for me to do than a normal diet, because the way I start binging is when I eat something healthy, but then I have my appetite whetted and I want more and more.

It's a nice change of pace to be trying to pig out on food rather than making sure I watch what I eat.

Hopefully these trends continue as I progress forward in my fitness journey.

Hey, nice to see you trying out IF.

Are you doing any weight training? What kind of foods are you eating?

Good luck with your journey, we are here to help in any way possible.

Weight training and changing eating habits has changed my life in myriad ways, congratulations on the beginning of the journey. The dividends will be awesome!

I am doing weight training. It's a kind of cross-training split that I'm testing out for a guy on here. It works well for me because it's meant for busy schedules. As for food, I'm not watching any macros but protein, I have lots of meat and cheese.

My Fitness Journey - Krusyos - 11-12-2014

Well, I fell off big time. Mom brought home lots of shit food snacks in bulk and I went hog wild for weeks. Thank goodness I managed to get back to the gym this week, but I'm still trying to curb my appetite. My parents have prohibited intermittent fasting because I got sick for one day when I was doing it. It's bullshit, I know. I'm just going to try to watch my calories and protein and that's it.

I'm back at 206.4.

Thats whats up man, you are just getting started. You have some height and some size to your advantage.. Lift heavy fucking weight and eat right bro... and the world is yours. No more giving in an binging on sweets. Sticking with a good diet and workout routine will improve every area of you life. Self discipline, confidence, mental clarity, breaking goals, breaking hearts, the list goes on and on.

My Fitness Journey - Sturmgeist - 11-13-2014

I was 285-288 (288 according to doctor visit) on March 5. At 203 now. It's a better lifestyle isn't it?

My goal is a 4 pack by next july... Hopefully I can get down to 190 by February.

I'm like you man, just a bit younger. I'm tall too and I also have a sweet tooth. It is harder for tall guys to gain (or it doesn't show as much).

Yeah, man. We just gotta keep at it. Use this forum for motivation and shove those weights in the air.

High school represent haha. Having mom bring home a 6 pack of Costco muffins is hard to deal with on a cut. Willpower in the diet is by far the hardest part of shedding fat.
