Is It Harder to Game With Acne? - Gamers - 10-04-2014

If someone has adult acne that does not respond to treatments, does it make it harder for a man to game? The type of acne that does not respond to healthy diets, pills, hygiene, etc. Especially if it is all over someone's body, including zits on your penis (not trolling, this does exist).

Of course it doesn't help but it doesn't mean your doomed to fail at gaming either. Anything that detracts from your phyical appearance isn't good. At least being a little chubby some girls go for the teddy bear thing and dont like cut or skinny guys but I don't think any girl has like an acne fetish so in that sense its not a positive but don't let it hurt your self esteem either.

I'm not super short but on the shorter side. I see some girls dating profile no guys under 5'10" or 6' or whatever. I don't let that stop me I put my best foot forward and if she says thats an issue for her onto the next but I dont let it bother me.

Dress nice, stay in shape, take care of yourself and try to take care of the acne but don't let it get in your way.

If you are already asking this question, then it definitely is harder to game with acne.

Some girls like popping zits. And they may especially enjoy popping them on your dick.

have you tried accutane?

I would second this. I had really bad acne, body and face at 16-18, tried accutane. It changes your whole body chemistry, skin everywhere but also fucks with your hormones and brain chemistry too. Can PM for more info if need be. Depression comes with this, at least a little. But it works. My hair started to fall out a little. I thought it was worth it. My skin cleared up everywhere on my body, in 6-8 weeks.

I would also try Proactiv if you havent just for face or your dick. Who cares if your shoulders have acne. If you havent tried that. TRY IT. Call them right now, order that shit. Its money back if you dont like it.

Acne sucks. But there were still some girls interested in me at that age. As an adult, I think its about -5 to your 0-10 score.

Another second on the Accutane. I had what was known as "persistent nodular acne" on the face, back, shoulders - basically the worst you can get. Nothing that was over the counter was working.

I got off pretty easily for side-effects as far as I recall - can't really remember anything other than some skin dryness. It takes 6-8 weeks of pills, and it'll mess with your body chemistry, cause it is basically a steroid. But it's the most powerful anti-acne treatment you can get, and if nothing else works, I'd definitely say go to a dermatologist and see if you can get a prescription.

Another +1 for Accutane 40. I used to suffer from severe acne with so many pimples that I was called "pizza face". In 6 months everything disappeared and I got soft skin like a baby's ass.

When I was a teen I had severe acne, but the doc prescribed something for another ailement called tetracycline that seemed to clear it right up. Maybe look into that? I dunno why it worked.

I will say that until that happened, I didn't get ANY chicks prior to that point. It really does a number on a guy's self-confidence and confidence is what you need to radiate with girls. They need to feel you have it. Acne, especially the severe kind I had, destroys this and you can imagine how picky western girls are to begin with.

Try Accutane. It should work, and while the side effects suck, it's better than having acne scars.

Do what you can to improve your appearance. All drugs have side effects. It is a cost benefit analysis. Focus on developing strengths in your other area of appearance: developing an excellent physique and dress impeccably.

Severe Acne-yes because it's unattractive

Mild Acne-possibly harder to game only if it affects your confidence; Hard to approach women when you're worried about a zit even if she hasn't noticed it.

There are separate threads on acne treatments...no one should have to deal with it. great treatments including accutane.

Is It Harder to Game With Acne? - Gamers - 10-08-2014

Accutane would be the last treatment I can try. I am worried about the side effects I hear about, though, like bowel diseases and erectile dysfunction (among many others).

Is It Harder to Game With Acne? - Rawmeo - 10-08-2014

The only side-effect I got with Accutane 40 was extremely dry lips (I had a special kind of lypsil that I had to put almost every hour), never heard about erectile dysfunction though.

My friend was on some acne meds. It turned him into a violent paranoid psycho who thought the government was after him. No joke. Be careful.

Try the easy obvious things first. Clean eating, lots of water. Even just swimming in the ocean regularly helps. Salt water draws toxins out of your body. It's amazing.

Is It Harder to Game With Acne? - Gamers - 11-02-2014

Tried all of the obvious methods for years. None of them worked. I have also been on many other acne drugs, such as tetracycline and they did not help at all. Accutane would be the last resort but when I go online it seems to have a greater amount of horror stories than other prescription drugs and has even been taken off the market (you can only buy it in generic form). I have noticed that women are not as interested in me in comparison to when I had perfect skin.

I started a blog about acne recently and wrote a post on this exact subject:

You are the gatekeeper to meeting women. You control your actions and fate. Guys assume that no girls will like them with acne, but there’s no explanation for that. It’s just an assumption. Sure, girls probably don’t find guys with blemishes more attractive than they would that same guy with clear skin, but if it bothers them that’s their problem. If you think a girl is cute and want to talk to her or ask her out, do it. What’s holding you back is the perception that she will automatically reject you because of your skin. You don’t know that, and you shouldn’t assume that. You should assume that she thinks your the most handsome and desirable man in the world. If you don’t feel comfortable thinking that then you need to work on boosting your self esteem.

There is a plethora of information on this site about getting girls. It's not like you're not allowed to use it just because you have acne, that's just how you perceive it.

As for accutane, it's a miracle drug. My experience was great and as for those horror stories, they are quite rare. I have a post on accutane on my site as well, but don't want to post everything here.

Feel free to post more info here or message me directly.

If you think that will be a problem, it would be a problem.

Try concealers like BB cream.

Interesting site. I wish cod liver oil worked for me, I tried it for a long time and it didn't clear me up at all. Accutane would be the last thing I could really try but when I look at things like this:

It sounds dangerous.
