Anti-obesity PSA - one-two - 09-03-2014

I just stumbled upon this video, pretty cool depiction of how your weight can get out of control.

Meet Jim, the man whose life is flashing before your eyes because he's having a heart attack at the age of 32 from health problems due to obesity. With obesity quickly becoming the #1 cause of preventable death in America, this video needs to be seen.

I would like to see them make one with a fat chick now. Imagine all the fat body acceptance chicks go nuts.

Pretty quick good video. Made its point.

I'm pretty sure this is a dupe, but I laugh at how people are offended by this.

It's the truth and the tax payer will pay for it.

I'm surprised this is allowed to exist. With all the spergs and SJWs in feminism pushing the fat acceptance bullshit, I'm surprised there is not a "Fat is Beautiful" or "Pro-Obesity" PSA.

This a great video. It hits you like a sledgehammer. It targets your emotions and it makes you feel guilty for your own or the habits you are giving to your child.

I'm surprised they were allowed to get away with portraying the Mom in a bad light - as giving him junk food all the time, and his Dad was the only one who called him out - hiding candy bars in his dresser as a child. But everyone knows that's the primary cause of poor nutrition for kids - lazy moms who don't cook picking up fast food instead, rewarding with candy, etc.

To be fair, the dad was on the phone ordering the pizza, but I see your point.

Excellent video. Even as someone who doesn't have this problem, this hits home thinking of how my parents could have just let things go when I was a kid. Really quite gut-wrenching and something that needs to be shown as widespread as any shocking PSA about smoking cigarettes or meth.

Great video. It really does speak the truth that most obesity stems from poor decisions at an early age. Think about all the fat people you knew. How many were fit and athletic in high school? I know a handful may have been, but the majority were pudgy growing up. Kids grow up being reward with dessert when they finish all the food on their plate, and more kids are finding less appeal in sports and playing outside.

French fries are honestly the most destructive food in America. They come with all sandwiches and burgers, and they contain way too many calories per serving. If we removed french fries and soda from our diets, I imagine normal weight would be much more easy to maintain.

Fries are one of those things where if they show up on my plate I wind up eating a bunch of them absently. Killer ghost nutrition.

Also noticed that potato dishes in Europe are way tastier because they don't use that shitty Russet potato we grow in North America.
