I am planning to change my small Renault car for a used BMW
Any advice on what to get? I need a sedan 4 doors or a 5 door car.
Thinking of a 8-10 year old car.

Well if it has to be a BMW, has to be a saloon or touring and you're looking at 8-10 years old you only have three models to choose from really:
3 series, 5 series and 7 series.
Perhaps take a look at X5s too?
I had a 330D E46 and it was an incredible car.

No, it doesnt need to be a BMW.
I would choose any car with

medium size
good reselling potential
I have a small 5 door Renault now, I want to upgrade. Car to be bought in Spain.
