Hey guys,
I'm interested to see if there are any other kiteboarders on this forum. I live in LA and kite in Belmont, and I also like to travel to kite. If you live in SoCal and/or are interested in traveling hit me up. I'm thinking of doing a Ventana trip this fall when the winds die off here and either Mui Ne, Vietnam or Cartagena in Jan/Feb. The second trip with be for a month and I'll probably rent an apartment.

I've been slowly learning kiteboarding over the years - NE Brazil, Miami, Cape Hatteras. Still a beginner, but love it. Looking to do a solid week or two somewhere to break through to "intermediate" and consistent riding. I'm likely in SE Asia for most of October through March - Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines. Where do you recommend?

Cumbuco or Jericoacoara in Brazil are awesome kite destinations, which have a year-round season. Beautiful places as well.

In Phils, go to Boracay. Kiting mecca. Second choice would be Mui Ne, Vietnam.
Can kite Bali and Phuket as well, but less good.

Been kite surfing in Hawaii since the early 2000's, mostly in Kailua, on the island of Oahu, and north shore of Maui. I've been to a few spots in Mexico, and CR, but nothing compared to the conditions in Hawaii.
