Getting in the right mindset - Fortis - 07-12-2014

Hey players,

sometimes, I'll be at the mall, grabbing lunch, or in the middle of some mundane activity and pass a girl and go "fuck, I should have approached!" Sometimes they'll even make eye contact and smile, before realising that I'm one million miles away in my mind. In my day to day grind, I'm typically very inside my mind, so I'm not even thinking about women or pick-up. I usually have to designate days to go out and approach, because I haven't yet made pick-up a part of my life.

how do you guys work on keeping your player mindset going even when you're not actively looking for girls to approach?

Mods, can someone delete this one actually? Silly thread to make given the wealth of info on the topic on the website.

I like the idea, as it's a problem for me myself. Ive been doing affirmations and pumping myself up with mcqueens 11 step prep, getting into a boss-mode, confident mindset but I lose all momentum and anxiety strikes as soon as I get through the door into the venue. Serious inner game issue, so I'd be interested to hear if Anybody found a solution to this themselves.
Cheers

I dd a few approaches today and one thing that helped me was remembering this little attitude from Soup or Mcqueeen. I can't remember, but here's what they said,

"How would you approach if you knew that how ever it all turned out you had three 9s waiting for you at home."

I was still struggling to make conversation, but I found that my anxiety was almost non-existent.

I have the same problem and I just mentioned on another thread that it really helps me to burn an approach, just open someone who's not all that interesting just to get out of my head and start being social. Even chat up a guy, just make some small talk.

I like CMQ's line too.
