I've been a big fan of the Oil Sands post but just for the sake of diversity I wanted to look into alternatives to mech/weld/elec stuff.

Does anyone have insight on a career or work as a farrier? I worked at a ranch over the winter and ran into one who described it as a pretty niche field.

I'm assuming that this was all an obscure and convoluted Archer reference.

But on the off chance you were serious....
Here's the episode referred to http://www.watchcartoononline.com/archer...wiss-miss.

Both episode and reference start at 2:45.

No clue on being a farrier.
