Starting a study abroad company? - magellan - 05-21-2014

Hey all,

I've been doing a lot of research over the past couple days on potentially starting a study abroad company but unsurprisingly haven't found a whole lot of information on the process. I studied abroad a semester so I know a decent amount about the different companies, general size, experience, etc. but I want to know more about any red tape to expect, how to enroll students, relationships with American universities, etc.

I figured there are more than a few of you that have considered doing the same.

I am working on a related idea, but I'm not interested in trying to get universities to use my services. Rather, I am aiming to provide an affordable alternative to 4 straight years of university that competes directly with overpriced universities themselves.
