Worldstar, a fight with good camera work. If only they could edit out the girl's shouting.

this brings back bad memories of an apartment I lived in that had this kind of view. I watched this kind of craziness twice a week and then moved after a month.

Shirtless guy and his buddy in the green shirt/black gloves know how to throw down and have probably fought together before. They split up the larger group and cover each other well. The black shirts can't control their adrenaline and frequently overshoot (e.g. into a storefront window).

People's stupid dramas result in someone's businesses' window getting smashed in.

The storefront is for
Fluevog. This had to happen after bar closing time in a tourist district. None of these people are locals worried about what reputation their get from their neighbors for getting drunk in public and brawling.
Fluevog is a Canadian fetish shoe maker popular with 50-ish goth women. Instead of dyeing their gray hair blonde or brown, they cover their old gray hair with blue, green or pink dye, cover the wrinkles with a shit-ton of industrial grade makeup, dress in corsets and black, and try to relive their clubbing days. And teeter around in fetish gear. Or more likely, teeter into a chair and then sit there all night.
It's not uncommon to see older women flying out of SFO with over a thousand dollars of Fluevog shoes as their carry on luggage. I'll strike up conversations with them in the lounge to kill time and the shoes are hugely coveted and fetishistized by that crowd. The two shops on Union Square and Haight Street are destination shopping points for them. Women will literally take their vacation here just so they can shop at the Fluevog store and try on and buy shoes they've been worshiping over the internet and saving up for. For months. The plane ticket is much lower than the cost of the shoes.
When I ask them where they wear goth stuff anymore, since all the old bands have retired, they talk about
several goth
cruises catering to what's now kinda an old person scene. Learn something new every day.
I like how the shirtless and green shirt are obviously working together, but they keep telling the black shirt clowns "one-on-one, man! one-on-one!" Talk about a con game.

That's crocodile bar in wicker park. Kinda touristy area but more Chicago/ suburbs type. Ill go that way on occasion but don't really buy into the hype. Its been a while so maybe I'll stop by that bar and check out the crowd.
