Why English people call man's private parts "junk" - Mage - 12-18-2013

It has always disgusted me that one of the most common slang words for male genitalia in English is "junk". Junk is a synonymous for waste or trash after all. Why do men, even many men on this forum call their most private parts that are essential to their manhood and give them pleasure "junk" Doesn't it show that the culture is misandric and it doesn't value male sexuality? Doesn't it show how people think of men as a disposable sex when they say that their genitalia is junk - implying that it can be thrown a way like garbage?

I would never call my genitalia junk, I would consider it a bad game. I would hold a grudge against any person, man or woman, who would call my penis "junk" even if they do so meaning no offense.

I suggest that all self-respecting red pill men of manosphere stop calling male genitalia "junk" and publicly fight against the usage of this slang word like feminists and gays fight to ban words they do not like.

Historically there have been many slangs for penis some more beautyful then others "Jade rod" is a word used in Taoist texts. My native country calls it "Eel" or "one eyed eel" Even the international word "sausage" has more respect. But "junk"? - it is just not a way a man should talk about himself.

Do you agree?

I think it's more 'cause it rhymes with trunk

Ayup, and Junkers are Prussian noblemen.
Who would object to King Dick?

I have always wondered did you know what "Eel" means in some cultures when you choose your username?

Nope! First time I'm hearing about it, and Croatian has no other meanings for the world "Eel". However, it is a confirmation that I made the right choice [Image: lol.gif]

I have no problem with it. A junk is a sturdy, long and hard vessel; it is full of seamen; it ever seeks out new and exciting harbours to dock into.

Then you will be happy to learn that Latvians have folk songs about Eel driving to marry Flounder [Image: biggrin.gif]

Is a "ship" really the second thing that comes to an English-native speakers mind when he hears the word "junk"? Is it not a garbage bin or a used wrapping paper lying on street?

And why is your penis a mere ship when mine is a rocket ? [Image: banana.gif]

Well you see, a ship doesn't explode at the first sign of excitement... it has endurance!

Junk can also mean "stuff" or "things". It's not as bad of a word as you think. Secondly, it's not so widely used either.

You are probably right. I already made the thread before I realized I had to add the word "speaking" between "English" and people"

But its the cheap low end spectrum of "stuff" or things" right?

I have sometimes heard of mans package as "treasure" or "jewels" (the valuable end of "stuff" and "things") bet not in English.

Rockets don't need endurance...by the time your ship merely starts rocking on gentle waves my rocket has already hit triple O

Besides how well does a ship fill a hole with all the masts and irregular form? Is just painful to imagine [Image: confused.gif]

Bah. Rockets are Beta. They are shaped like tampons.

By that logic penis is also beta. It is also shaped like a tampon because both penis and tampon are shaped to fit inside pussy. Is it beta to have a member that has a shape for pounding pussy? Very gynocentric. Strange huh.

Did you feel like standing on a giant dick? Noticed any similarities or resonance with your genitalia? Did you feel invigorated or diminished near the presence of this highly phallic (as some participants of this discussion say) vehicle?

I suppose you're right, there. I don't refer to it is junk though - I just say dick or family jewels.

Afraid not. It was actually pretty awkward, because I took a trip on this junk when I met up with an ex-girlfriend a few months after our break up. We'd had almost no contact since the breakup, but both happened to be in Hong Kong at the same time, so we spent a couple weird hours together on the boat.

I've since then come to terms with the fact that if you never enter an exclusive relationship with a woman, there can't be an awkward breakup. I'm always available to give them the "boat ride" of their life.

I don't know the origin of the term. What I do know is that if I hear a woman use it, I think she sounds trashy, and she's pretty much out of the running for anything more than a fling.
