How to respond to a girl saying she loves you - YoungDominican - 09-10-2013

Hey, I'm not sure if there's a thread about this already but I couldn't find one so I'm just going to ask this on a new thread.

This has happened to me a couple times, a girl telling me she loves me and me not wanting to say I love you too and it not turning out too well for me.

What do you guys do when this happens?

1). Sidestep by asking "What is love?" or some other question.

2). Play her this classic '80s club hit:

Her: "I love you"

You: "I know"

Alternatives:

You: "No shit" (wink, playful smile)

You: "I love me too. Glad we're on the same
page."

You: "That's great sweetie, no one cares" (one of my favs. A little harsh but when done well is quite effective)

Silence.

Ah, that I know line I will add to my arsenal. Sounds like it would end that conversation right there. Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.

How does this pan out? Just a change in topic?

Couldn't imagine the girl not crying or getting super emotional.

I love....lamp.

i don't see the harm in saying "i love you too babe" its not like you're commiting to marriage.
who gives a fuck if you're lying? She wants to hear that and she'll repay you with an ample supply of pussy.
you get tired of it in a few weeks, just walk away.

How to respond to a girl saying she loves you - frogmallet - 09-10-2013

i.e., saying "I love you" is not commitment, its part of the game.

@Spider:

Great avatar first off.

Secondly, women love to be emotional. She's in a state of euphoria or desperation to say "I love you". By taking her on a roller coaster from high to low within seconds deepens her emotional reaction to you.

Emotions are emotions regardless and they create bonds, whether its hate or love.

Have you ever heard a girl say "Ugh! I fucking hate him but I love him too. He drives me nuts!"? Generally it's a player who knows how to take girls on a roller coaster.

If she starts crying that's when you pull her close and say "Relax babe. You're acting crazy."

This does 3 things:

1. Maintains Frame: you're commanding her to do something even though you caused her reaction.

2. The physical of pulling her close is your 'beta moment', which establishes you're not a monster.

3. Plants a seed in her mind that she's 'crazy'. Sends her hamster into overdrive.

To simplify it: You're MINDFUCKING her hamster into overdrive.

This goes into Deep Conversion Gaming which I've toyed with dropping the info on. It's intense but extremely effective.

What about:

"do you love me?" (spoken in a trembling voice with wide-eyed stare)

Just had one text this to me earlier today.

After a couple hours I sent back "Where did that come from?"

"I'm just really happy today and wanted to tell you that!"

*silence*

Don't really care how it plays out except for one thing; I will not be saying the same to her.

I prefer not to lie about love. I would just kiss her and not say anything.

This is right on. Female psychology is such that performing this gesture - drawing her in, embracing her, calling her babe, calling her *crazy* (old school push-pull), will only amplify her feelings.

You're not saying you love her back because presumably you don't. But doing this conveys masculine presence, strength, the ability to protect her, while ribbing her, making her feel insecure, and also flirting with her.

The irony is that she may well appreciate this more than you saying like a schlub: "I love you too!"

Sounds like you're trying to minimize awkward tension.

While giving her a serious, yet vulnerable look, and without saying a word, start this on your laptop, then leave the room as it begins:

She will rationalize it one way or another.

Mr McQ jas covered it all really, it's very easy to respond to it.

How to respond to a girl saying she loves you - reaper23 - 09-11-2013

"I know"

That's the go to.

How to respond to a girl saying she loves you - Beyond Borders - 09-11-2013

"I know."

or

"I couldn't tell," with a sly smile.

Or tease her about it in some other way.

If I really think it's important, I'll explain to or remind her I'm not looking for anything serious (though that usually just hooks them more).

If you think she'll get the reference, drop this one on her. LOL

Sorry - I couldn't find a better clip.

Her: "I love you."
You: "So, about <insert sexual fantasy here>..."
Her: Hell no!
You: Then don't talk about love.

^This may actually get the ball rolling on your first threesome, anal, video tape, etc.

If a girl says that kind of thing I usually don't say anything.

Have a moment of silence and talk about something else.

McQueen nailed it. I have use these or a variation of all of these at one point or another. I have used "I Know" since I was 15 years old.

How to respond to a girl saying she loves you - King Solomon - 09-11-2013

McQueen: I humbly request that you spill on the deep conversation game.

Also, what must be avoided at all costs here is "I love you too"

This "I love you" is a prompt/shit test. If you follow along, you fail.

If you really dont want to hurt the girl, you can say "I have feelings for you too but I am careful with that word because it means a lot to me. Thanks babe, I dig you. When the time is right, or when I find a way to let my guard down a little more, I'll share more of how I feel about you. For now, thanks baby. You're a cool chick"

This whole "I have to find a way to let my guard down" sounds like "I've been hurt before" and chicks will make it a personal challenge to see if they can solicit the L word from you. Beware- they are good at it, per the voodoo mentioned above. If you are going to use the L word, better do it on your terms, with no gushing, or you will lose hand, and lose it for good. Hot chicks hear guys profess their love all the time, and its a disqualifier.

I don't like the L word because it is overused and rarely backed up or followed up or proven.

It is ideal to go with "I know" but sometimes that doesn't cut it and you get shut out. In the event you want to keep her soft and wet, if she is down on "I know" you can try some version of what I wrote. If you get it right, not only will you have averted the crisis, but you can make her hamster spin like a mofo trying to figure you out.
