Gaming business customers - lskdfjldsf - 07-27-2013

I was recently in New York on a business trip and had a one-on-one meeting with what I'd describe as the typical Manhattan media slut. Pretty attractive girl, but vapid and generally incompetent in her field, like most females in the NYC media industry. We acted professionally, although there was clear attraction on both ends.

At the end of the meeting, as I was approaching the elevator, she asked how long I'd be in New York and if I wanted to get drinks. 99% of the time I do this myself, but I've always separated work/personal relationships.

Walking from the bar, she whispered how she wanted me to "just throw her and toss her around". Closed the deal shortly after.

The following weeks, I found she was completely unable to separate work from fun, and I received dozens of ridiculous emails from her sent to my work address. The nutjob just wouldn't stop, and it adversely effected the business relationship between our two companies (she failed to fulfill her obligations and complete tasks)

Anyways, I was hoping to hear from others if this is a normal thing (as I'm a pretty young dude) or if it's a good idea to keep the two completely separate. She handed herself to me on a platter, but I'm finding that banging out my international customers and working with them afterwards doesn't exactly fit together too well since the majority are still psychotic whores.

In my experience, most women who offer themselves on a platter like this without even a sip of booze have mental issues. If I was to guess she's probably bipolar.

EDIT: Never mind - just realized she made that comment on the way from the bar. In any case, my assessment still stands.

Your Intuition is right, Plenty of girls outside your business are available and should be your default practice to not mix the two.

Another thing to cosider how much value do you put on your current Job. If you don't care much about it or leaving the profession then clean the house .

Depends on how important the client and her role is. If it's an important project/client wait until it's over. If she's not critical to the project then ok. Personally, I don't jeopardize projects and clients by getting involved with a woman that is critical to the outcome before the project is finish. It's ok to flirt and warm her up a bit but leave her simmering until the project is over.

Don't shit where you eat. I'd bet money that the Romans had a similar saying. There's a good reason for that.

Yep. Don't mix business and pleasure.
Caveat: Business is done and you know for sure you wont interact professionally again.
