Bakermat and a New Genre of Music - Aer - 05-14-2013

Recently, I have been listening to a bunch of a relatively new type of music which has seemingly exploded among young people in The Netherlands, Belgium and France. As is well known, these people tend to be the ones that produce the trends of the time, and this is no different, as artists such as Bakermat are now thriving.

A general description of the music would be a mix of house and jazz/country. Some deep progressive house music mixed with drops with instruments like flutes, trumpets and saxophones. They also throw in some vocals too, and quotations (Obama in the third video below) Avicii attempted this in his new sets at Ultra, but failed at gaining any attention, only diverting attention to artists which have been doing it longer.

It took awhile for me to start really liking it, but it honestly is great for relaxing/partying.
