A pitcher can throw 5 pitches, all with the same arm movement.

He came within one out of a perfect game a month ago. I regret having never played baseball competitively. I did however become quite proficient in the batting cages(great ab workout) though. When you see a 95+ mph ball coming at you, it is something else. My first time in a cage that fast and the ball was dribbling back toward the machine by the time my bat was through the zone.

A lot of Asian pitchers come in to the league and have good success until the hitters get used to their odd mechanics(Hideo Nomo). Darvish on the other hand is one of those pitchers that won't be figured out specifically because he doesn't tip his pitches(as far as delivery is concerned).

I feel bad for the people who don't appreciate the game and its intricacies. You have to have an extremely high skill set just to be a utility player.

Same goes with soccer/football. It took me a while to really appreciate how intricate the sport is.
