Pretty cool now if you have a thai or cambodian visa you can travel freely between the two countries.

This is bad news for longer-term travellers. Presumably one can no longer do a Thai visa run from Bangkok(/Pattaya) across to the Cambodian border, leaving Laos, Malaysia and Burma as the only significantly more time consuming overland options. My guess is that this is a ploy to make it harder for the perma-sex-tourists to stay in either country.
