[Ipanema is the rich guys beach in Rio de Janeiro and its dwellers sometimes claim to be part of an independent kingdom. The fight stemmed from some guys playing with a soccer ball in the middle of the crowd, which is forbidden. Of course, this was just a bait for the cops and probably has to do with pot smoking].
